Do you have any insights on what kind of work people do to support this lifestyle?? How to find remote work that would allow for this flexibility?

Hi! Absolutely, my husband does IT type of consutlanting contracts- so he'll take a contract for 6 months and then take off for 6 months or such, depending on our travel schedule. I have more flexibility in my work in direct sales and can work year round since I don't have to depend on time zones and such as much. Other people we've met have rental properties or just ask their jobs for remote positions or a sabbatical. We've had nurse friends work online while traveling too. Hope that helps. You can always reach out to me on Instagram with any other questions. @MichelleSchomp

We are very interested in boundless life, but I'm trying to figure out how to figure out schooling. How did you handle schooling in general? Like when you left or arrived in the middle of a school semester and the kids could go to a public school. Or do you implement home schooling? Very curious how to tackle this! Also, are you allowed to have guests stay with you and visit for a few days in your accommodations or is that against their policy?

Hi! All great questions. You can reach out to me on Instagram and I'd be happy to go into detail how we handle school! instagram.com/michelleschomp As far as having guests, I believe the answer is yes, as long as you've selected accomodations that could handle guests. I don't think you can select a 1 bedroom and try to squeeze 6 guests in there :) but anything within reason is probably fine- we've had guests visit us at some of the locations! But check with Boundless for their most recent policies!

Thank you for the detailed review of all the Boundless Life locations - so informative and helpful! We're looking forward to starting our first cohort next year in Bali. Could you possibly link the accommodation you booked in Sanur? Thank you!

@@PassportExplorers Hi Michelle - just wanted to say thanks again for the housing link. We've narrowed down our accommodation options in Sanur for next year and Kejora Villas 17 is one of them. I've read reviews of the property and a lot of people have mentioned construction going on next door. Was this bothersome or too noisy for you? Any other cons that you would want to mention? It's really challenging trying to decide on housing when you can't see it in person! Thanks in advance for any additional info. :-)

Hi! Thank you so much for your detailed summaries! We are seriously considering doing the 3 month experience in January-March of 2026. For that time of the year, given the weather etc, where would you suggest (Bali is unfortunately not an option because I do have to work for part of the day on EST hours). Do you also plan on spending 3 months in Montenegro?
@PassportExplorers
@PassportExplorers 3 ай бұрын
Hi Kara! We do plan to go to Montenegro! I'll report back once we attend :) For Jan-March, I think all the current locations (with the exception of Bali) will be a bit cooler. I think they all have their perks for the offseason and dress accordingly, they can all be enjoyed. What is most important for your family? (Being on the water? Outdoor activities? Food?) (Feel free to shoot me a message on instagram as well and I'm happy to answer specific questions @michelleSchomp ) 😊
