I think a 20 year anniversary video of the Tsunami should be a big December priority. Take us to some local survivors, because all we ever hear about are the tourists, and there are thousands of local stories to be documented. I'd also like some wildlife videos. Go herping for snakes with David Frohlich in Hua Hin, and do an episode about him.

Chris, my family and I are big fans. I'm an expat in my late 20s who moved here solo and works in Bangkok now. I was recently visiting my family and we watched your last video "A Thailand Story You Need To Hear"- it was by far our favorite video of yours. We discussed how documentary style videos really suit you- and how amazing it was that you put an amazing story of hope in the spotlight. With your platform and love of Thailand, you could do a lot of great work here helping out those who need it most.

I want to say the best video you ever made in my opinion you weren’t even in. It was the video where you followed the journey of the young teacher as she went up to the remote village where she teachs. You showed the struggles of her life that she faced with determination and a wonderful sense of humour. When i saw the new building that a charity had supplied for her to stay in compared to the old building she shared with rats and snakes there were tears in my eyes. I thought it excellent of you to take a back seat and let the story tell itself. Perhaps you could use this channel to have people who don’t have the subscribers to supply you wonderful videos along the same line. You of course would decide the suitability but it would be fantastic to see more videos like that, than another condo pricing story, not that those aren’t useful.

Retired! Don't Give Up. That was National Geographics level. What i would give to be one of those contributing, sharing my content. My channel is just getting stated haven't got that hundred subscribers yet 28 to go , channel will center on living in the northern provinces of Thailand and the culture of of the people. Right now going through my first six months will have 40 videos by the end of that and take up from my new home in Phrae Province, with no shortages of sights to see and people to learn from. I actually hope to eventually meet Chris and persuade him to maybe allow me to contribute to his Teenee App.

Happy to hear an update from you Chris and happy to hear of your big move, you both deserve it. I was in Thailand not to long ago hoping to run into you but now I know why it didn't happen hahah. I hope to see your upcoming videos where you utilize the Thai language and to see the reaction of Thai people hearing you speak. It's always a good feeling when I was there and spoke Thai I felt that I got more praise from Thai people for doing so and just by attempting to speak their native tongue it really went a long way. Your videos are some of my favorite Thai videos you really show a passion and love for the country which why it always brought me back to this channel and it always will. I still watch videos from the past cause it really puts a smile on my face and always pumps me up to head back ASAP. Take care Chris hopefully when I go back I'll run into you in samui and can mark it off my Thailand to do list. Kob kun mak karp Chris 😊🙏✌️

It's a wonderful thing to be able to give back and help, and it's a wonderful thing what you do. Pad Krapow in space, and the Christmas party with your mother and father, fantastic videos, your giving back with a sense of humor is so genuine and caring . You're Blessed keep up the good work.

We were wondering what happened to you! Your videos have been an inspiration to us. We have been watching your videos over the years with much anticipation. You inspired us to take a trip to Thailand in 2022 and 2033. We've been to Bangkok, Pattaya, Chiang Mai, and Hua Hin. And if not for the new tax laws we would be retiring there. We are hoping to go back this winter, though age is catching up to me. For someone who has previously only been out of the US twice in my 69 years on the planet, your videos gave me the only real peek at Thailand. You have no idea how helpful your videos have been. We certainly understand why you are taking some time to smell the roses.

Good to hear from you again, Chris. 3 years ago now I believe I saw your video as I was missing Thailand. Enjoy the move over and downtime. When you return, I think continue sharing all the parts of the country. Maybe hunt down some nomadic travellers, share their costs how they earn, what is a daily schedule like. Also find some nice bars that do live music that holiday makers can visit. Also be part of the loy krathong festival in november, how tourists can get involved and where it is best (I think Chiang Mai).

I guess I've been one of your first followers if not subscribers (can't remember when I subscribed) when you were doing push-ups in Koh Samui, and I remember this video by the lake in Lumphini. I've been binge watching your videos a lot and you've inspired me launching my channels. But then, as it often happens, I started watching more other KZfaqrs, stopped being part of the BOD, and just kept an eye from time to time on your videos... And I agree with you, "A Thailand Story you NEED To Hear" is one of your best videos ever, with the "Day in the Life of a Thai Street Food Vendor". I totally understand why you'd like to ease up on the accelerator now. Last week I was seating by Bang Rak beach, watching the sun set, not far from Moonstone, and I was thinking to myself: "if I were Chris Parker, I'd cool down a little, and spend much more time in paradise, enjoy the simple pleasures of life on Samui." I wish you and Haylee all the best!

Hey Chris, you have made some amazing videos. Through you we have delivered food parcels, seen how scholarships have helped young people to thrive. You have taken us into BKK and the islands. We have experienced all manner of Thai food and you have taken us with you all because you love Thailand. We have not been able to get back to Thailand as much as we would have liked over the last few years so your camera has given us a window into Thailand. Keep well and take time out to enjoy life. It’s how we keep going. Cheers Ian

Your videos have really helped me take the plunge. I will be in Bangkok for the first time in my life on July 1st. I am also making a trip to Chiang Mai. Thank you for all of your hard work. Your videos are amazing. They are so helpful. Any video topic is good. I really like the videos showing us how to get around and what to look for. Your "first hour in Bangkok" video in the airport is what convinced me to make the trip.

Wishing you all the best. Presently having my first visit to Thailand and your channel was my favorite to watch for ideas. Take your time, recharge and we will look forward to your return.

Thanks for all of the suggestions. We’re in Bangkok for the next couple of days & finally got to try the Pad Krapow-Amazing. I’ll keep following & enjoy your retirement & next chapter.

Chris, it’s nice to see you are taking some time for yourself and thank you for the update. I too am taking the Thai Language Challenge, day 5, so I understand the commitment. As for what I would like to see once you return from time off and ready to make videos again would be one on people’s fears of making the jump to moving to Thailand. I can tell you that my fiancé has this fear of leaving her comfort zone, meaning life that is familiar to her thinking she can’t maintain her same routines like, gym, getting hair done, running, etc… Anyways, just a thought. Thanks again for the update, enjoy and hope to see you soon. Cheers!
