Funny how our government can give BILLIONS to other countries but can’t seem to find the money for Social Security or our Veterans. Maybe Congress needs a complete change of representatives. New people, new ideas about where our money goes and to Hume it goes.

The thought of retirement makes me cry. My apologies to everyone who have retired and filing social security during this time after putting in all those years of work just to lose everything to a problem you never imagined to happen. It’s so difficult for people who are retired and have no savings to fall back on.

True, It has never been easier to understand how to build your money after retirement than it is right now with the inflation, when you may study and experience a completely variegated market passively by employing a successful portfolio-advisor. The impacts of the U.S. dollar's gain or fall on investments, in my opinion, are complex.

Even if you’re not skilled, it is still possible to hire one. I was a project manager and my personal portfolio of approximately $450k of my retirement pension took a big hit in April due to the crash. I quickly got in touch with a financial-planner that devised a defensive strategy to protect my funds and make profit from my portfolio this red season. I’ve made over $800k since then.

@@joshbarney114 I think this is something I should do, but I've been stalling for a long time now. I don't really know which firm to work with; I feel they are all the same but it seems you’ve got it all worked out with the firm you work with so i surely wouldn’t mind a recommendation.

I definitely share your sentiment about these firms. Finding financial advisors like Marisa Breton Dollard who can assist you on things like investing, insurance, making sure retirement is well funded, going over tax benefits, ways to have a volatility buffer for investment risk would be a very creative option. There will be difficult times ahead, and prudent personal money management will be essential to navigating them.

Marisa has the appearance of being a great authority in her profession. I looked her up online and found her website, which I reviewed and went through to learn more about her credentials, academic background, and employment. When we have elderly people who have pay society payday due to society have workday off and whatever jobs have worked at one job for over 30 or 40+ years. Unfortunately, there’s no more unions and 401(k) are shit. So when you have your Social Security, we have to have something to be able to live off of as elderly people. That’s why there’s so many elderly people on the street today homeless where they are elderly live they can’t live in mobile home parks because they go up on the rents on the mobile home parks of check to pay our Social Security that’s money we work for but they want to use it for other people and other stuff. I don’t remember seeing with me while I was cleaning in classroom or when I was lifting in boxes over there Fedex for 10 years. My Bro's Medicaid Medical Benefits are better than my SS Benefits. He even has Dental; pays $25 for each visit. I pay a $100 a month for coverage nowhere near his. WTF is that about? Makes me sick. They keep talking about retirees taking some kind of hit but, mark my words, NOTHING will change Medicaid. Plus, Medicaid is a Golden Parachute; meaning people seldom are ever removed. My wife has two friends that have been on Medicaid for decades. Medicaid was started in 1966. I realize people are gonna give me shit about my stance. IDC. Medicaid is sucking the life out of SS that was never taken into consideration with larger deducts.

Shouldn't they change the cpi to cpw to match the real cost of living ?.. that would probably help alot. Because if they change the real cost of living vs how they have it now and lift a bunch of other things within the social security like marriage penalty etc, then that might help a lot. But as always our government won't act until it's truly necessary to act. I guess the government likes to make it right down to the last nail bitting moment... I don't know but it's just crazy how little they care. I mean heck i always see how those with food stamps get a raise at least a couple times a year or so, they should do something similar for those on social security.. they have the funds but yet they always make something up.
