We all have milestones in life and retirement is definitely one of those major milestones. As any other milestone retirement should be prepared for and celebrated.
Retirement is a process. It’s a place in your life where you have never been before. It’s a whole new normal.
It’s important to know what you want from your retired life. How do you want to spend your days? We all need purpose, even in retirement.

Hey 👋 Keith & Terri! I’m with you. Up early. At 5am for me. It really is the best time of the day. Care free, coffee time, sunrise, birds singing. Kinda hot and humid outside today, so I’m staying cool today, inside enjoying coffee talk… and later on, who knows. Have a great day!

We love the new routine we are in...and actually try to not make it a daily routine or we'll fall back into the pre-retirement slur. So some mornings it's a early start, sometimes a later one. The fun of retirement is the variety of activities one can plan in and enjoy without feeling rushed. I have days where I do more than when I worked and some days- so much less it feels like a holiday. I actually try not to have a set plan. That way I'm open to any surprises that come my way. Truly is a big change. But, a fantastic one! I'll never forget the first day when I woke up and thought, now what? Actually felt somewhat sad and empty. I got over that quickly! 🤣🤣 But I'll admit to buying 2 new recliners for us. Just don't spend much time in them! 😁😁 We're doing what we love and always imagined. Seeing what's out there, 🚗⛰🏔🏔❗Who has time for a job?
