AHHHHH THIS IS MY SENIOR DRILL INSTRUCTOR'S CADENCE. I didnt want to forget it so i searched everywhere for this. She was promoted to staff sergeant and made our senior drill instructor. Then she became a chief drill instructor in the middle of our cycle. She is retired now but im glad i had the honor of having her as a drill instructor

This has to be the best cadence, bar none; ever. the cadence crosses all military branches and ranks light years above any other I've heard....or called.

I remember when she came into the classroom one day when my platoon was trying our hardest to get the hell out of there. It only took her to say, "Oh y'all must want to stay in here with me" for all of us to take flight out that room in .5 seconds. She's like 6 feet tall and I really do admire her.

I retired from the Corp in 2006 and this truly is what our Corp stands for Semper-Fi

She was one of my drill instructor before she picked up this platoon. Definitely one of the best Drill Instructors down at Parris Island very dedicated and motivated Sgt! Oorah and Semper Fidelis to Sgt May. I still remember this day, we were in the chow line and every time we heard this my whole platoon would be silent.

So I'm an Army Veteran...after viewing this I wouldn't mind becoming a Marine right now...okay I'm just kidding but I do have goosebumps! I'm so proud and honored. Congratulations!!!!

I met Cpl May back in 2013. If you ever wanted to see a female who could not only do it (by it I mean everything) better than a man, or someone who commands respect by just using her voice this was who you wanted. She would square away the biggest turds, break you off in P.T., and make sure you had everything you needed to succeed in your career. I was always proud to have her as my superior and to this day my wife knows who sgt (last rank she had when I served with her) is and the upmost respect I have for her.

I remember Drill Instructor Sergeant May! When I was getting ELS'd back in 2016 she was one of the few I saw while in RSP. Can't remember if she was a part of RSP ot recieving at the time.
