Certainly a "Ray of hope" for those that don't have bricks of the shiny stuff stashed away for their golden years. For those that do and don't want to blow it all in a care facility in the west, they get to still pass on some wealth to loved ones. If worried about being so far from family, find out how often they already visit other retired relatives and there's your likely answer. If they do want to visit, there's video chats or an exotic vacation awaiting them. Make it easy on yourself first before considering how others might deal with your relocation.

Great Post, thank you.....I have wanted to go To Baan Sabai Chaing Mai. Have been to check it out and love it, however, I started thinking of the two flights from Australia, so started looking in Bangkok or Pattaya or Puket purely for the distance. Your info was extremely helpful in convincing me. What info, links, can you give me on these places please?
