Not a fan of cheap plastic reusables but when I saw that first photo, almost didn't believe it was coming from this small camera. Love it! I'm probably gonna get one soon

I just finished my first roll through the camera and I'm not usually one to go for a small plastic camera but I'm loving the results. Great review of this new camera!

That is awesome Alex, I ma so glad you have one and are loving it. So much fun to use something like this even if you are a person who prefers a complex camera. Thanks for always watching and supporting :)

Nice color matching with the ring and camera ;) This reminds me of the cameras we had when I was a kid. No idea what the fstop or shutter speed was (or that they existed) just point it at something and snap. As long as it was sunny and the subject didn't move you stood a chance of getting grandma's photo. The lens performs better than any of those old plastic lens things from the 70s that shot 126 film. Enjoy the sun.
@LucyLumen2 жыл бұрын
Thank you for noticing the matching ring and camera haha very observant! Yes lots of sun and still subjects helps a lot. These are heaps of fun I want one in every colour to match my outfit every time haha

Hi Lucy!! Sooo many excellent images. Your composition is on point and you nailed the film choice when it comes to ISO. Great music and loved the editing on this video. I definitely had a good vibe. Thanks for showing us a current option for a new film camera that we don't have to throw in the ocean after one go. Cheers!

I had the original vivitar UW. It was so fun to use. I did not know about fstops when I was using it years ago but it does create nice vignettes. Actually, I like the wideness of vivitar than the fujiga645 Wide that’s why I sold my GA. I never sold my vivitar :)

How's everything down your way? I hope the floods and rain didn't cause you too much trouble and that you're safe!! Good to see you managed to put a video out despite it all. Looks like a good little camera and the pics you got from it were pretty cool as well!! It'd be perfect for beginners, but us "oldies" can appreciate having a camera like that, as well.

Hey Carl! I saw you said you were in hospital I am so sorry 😞 I hope you are feeling okay now though. We are all safe where we are but can’t say the same for many others in our country. It’s really tragic at the moment people have lost everything. My in laws are flooded in but their house is safe so that’s something. Yes highly recommend this camera it is lots of fun and the colours it comes in are really fun too!

Really nice video and pictures.! I was on Amazon looking at this, I want a film camera really bad but I’m on a budget…I mean I have a digital camera a canon but I want to get into film photography because the film photos are so nice and dreamy lol wondering should I get this or wait to get a more expensive 🤔 if I do I will use your link 🤞🏾
@LucyLumen2 жыл бұрын
Thank you lovely 😊 I feel you hey drill photography is an expensive hobby and can be pricey to get into. This camera is a great one for entering into as it’s so cheap. But just be mindful it doesn’t have a flash and won’t do well in doors or low light really so you will only be able to shoot outdoors. If you want a point and shoot look at the Pentax espio range they are pretty good and fairly cheap still also the canon sure shot supreme range is really good but can be up in the $150 range…depends on what you want. If you want a real bargain try a canon rebel g or a Nikon f60 they are pretty ugly haha but amazing and will be the cheapest options! Msg me on IG if you have more questions I’m always happy to help!!

It's hard to tell but is the surface rubbery or plasticky? just wondering because the superheadz clones from a few years back were mostly rubbery and they didn't age well... they got sticky after a while haha great shots though!
@LucyLumen2 жыл бұрын
Hey Leah! It’s def not rubbery it’s more plastic but it’s got like a matte finish to it if that makes sense?? I can’t imagine it would get sticky or anything over time. It’s a super cute little cam and it comes with a strap and case too! Thanks for watching

Hi Lucy I read earlier today that there have been some floods in Brisbane and the Gold Coast? I hope you are ok?
@LucyLumen2 жыл бұрын
Hello my friend! Yes it's been really bad in Queensland and New South Wales. Luckily we are okay we we live as we are higher up from the river but places not too far from us are flooded badly and all schools are closed the last two days so Lux is home from work. Thank you for checking on us though very kind of you. Hope you are well :)

@@LucyLumen Now we have a cruel war in Europe. Russia attacked Ukraine. The war takes place only around 800 miles from Austria. We all hope, that peace is coming again soon. We are back in the cold war of the 80s. Russia threats with nuclear missiles. As if covid-19 isn't bad enough. You are lucky to be far away. Sometimes I think it would be fine, if Austria would be a neighboring state of Australia. The similarity in the names of our two countries would suggest so. Far away from the problems in Europe would be fine.

How much does it cost for your film developing? Where I live, in the US, it is not affortable any more. Very sad for me.
@LucyLumen2 жыл бұрын
Hey sorry for my late reply. Yes it is expensive but everything in Australia is expensive. It costs about $16 to get a roll of film developed and scanned for me. So including the price of the film as well it's pretty expensive but it's worth it and it's my hobby. Can you not send it away somewhere that would be cheaper??

@LucyLumen Жыл бұрын
You'll probably need at least 400 ISO in winter but it depends really on whether the sun is out or you're talking really bleak weather. Snow does reflect a lot of light but we don't get snow where I live so I can't really tell you anything from experience. Maybe ask "the old camera guy" on his channel.
