Author Douglas Murray discusses the failed attempted assassination of former US president Donald Trump at his recent rally.
“Had the assassin’s bullet been very slightly to the one side, not only would we have had an assassination of a former president and a running candidate on live television,” he told Sky News host Danica De Giorgio.
“But the Republican Party, the Democrats, America as a whole and therefore the world could have fallen into an absolute pit of recrimination, retribution, and much more.”

If people were planning a serious operation involving the secret service, then why did they make the shooter someone who couldn't hit an incredibly easy shot? You can go search for videos of guys shooting hogs from helicopters in Texas I think, and they're hitting headshots from a helicopter on running pigs, and doing it quickly. This was a stable, slow, calm shot at a sitting target, with decent weather, at very close range. Lol, and he had a range finder for it. The longest confirmed kill from a sniper is 2000. This was 150. Why waste such a serious operation on someone known to be a bad shot? That's not a cia operation or something man. Both sides of this event were just terrible at what they do. Kid was a bad shot, and made a terrible assassin, and the secret service were incompetent.

Thirty eight years appointed in 1934. He was the FBI Director when Kennedy was murdered and during the assassinations of Martin Luther King and Robert Kennedy. He ran the investigations and solved the murders were all lone gunmen.

In all those cases, no one had information that there was a suspicious guy walking around for the previous hour and that a drone was seen flying over the area. Nothing was done. When asked why she didn't have someone on the roof, she said, it was steep and it seemed dangerous. Really?! It wasn't too steep for the kid with a gun. She sounds more like the principal of an elementary school.

I don't think Douglas has grasped the level of complacency on the Right and the Right's loathing of having to push back on what's happening. If TC was successful, there would have been much anger and mean tweets by various people, but there would be no peaceful protests in the street, let alone violent protests. The Le_ft screwed up this time, but they simply march on with little opposition.
