This was a great viewer choice recommendation! I loved mixing my own colors as well. That was one of my goals for the new year and I was happy to incorporate that in. I cannot believe that the new year is already approaching us again! Wow! This design is not my favorite composition, but this was more about the colors than the design. You know what's coincidentally cool about this, not only does it look totally 60s but the green and blue in the middle looks like a fist with a thumbs up. Clearly a Peace and Love piece

Molly, this reminds me of my grandma’s furniture back in the 70s! I know it is not your favorite color palette, but this is so much fun! When I first looked at it I got a 3-D feel from it! Beautiful!

This was so much fun to watch! I honestly never expected anyone to even attempt that colour palette tbh but somehow you actually made it work. It reminds me of a peacock feather and gives me retro vibes but also like an Asian Sari print feel with the almost paisley-shaped loops and whorls. I am so glad you enjoyed the challenge and took it in the spirit of fun that it was made in, I think there's a reason that retro colours never stay in style for long (not sure they're anyone's favourite colour palette haha!) so I don't think it would ever have been a masterpiece but I genuinely smiled the whole video through because it looked like you were having a blast. Thanks so much for taking a chance on my crazy idea and for the great content you put out every single week. I shall have to put on my thinking cap to figure out a new challenge for you now! 😂

Reminds me of the colors of my kitchen in the early 70’s! My mom loved that gold color for the whole house! Gold furniture in the living room, with red shag carpet lol! I think it scarred me for life lol! Very cool.

Egads...I felt like I was back in my 70s kitchen with the orange and greens!! Was never a fan of the color combo...but the 70s were awesome, so much fun. Wouldn't mind hanging this in my living room just to stare at the patterns and......ohhhh... the colors. Sorry, just had a flashback...lol You're right, Mollie, this was fun to watch.

I just watched this clip again because someone made a comment, and it popped up on my feed. Now I realized why this painting resonates so strongly with me. I had a skirt in 1974-5 with those colors. Just not the purple and the gold. It was big paisley shapes

I think gold ochre goes super well with jewel tones! Particularly deep purples and ruby colors. Maybe with a copper highlight.

I like the colors and composition Molly. The green reminds me of a dragon’s head and on the upper right side I think there is a woman’s face with a big smile. Yes I’m one of those people who always looks to see if any of the lines create an unintended image. I like the concept of taking a color pallet from a viewer and going with it ! Have Fun ! 😊

viewer choice: Molly love your work & your personality. I'd love to see a swipe done with gold rather than black or white. background either black or white your choice but the colors to be swiped need to be neon pink, electric blue, bright orange, bright purple & maybe even a touch of white.

Molly, good morning After you got done, pouring in looked like candy corns. Now, with it stretched out, it has so many different things in it for me. Fall leaves , campfires, and a little water.
