I love seeing many retros being remade in games! Not only are some getting direct ports from a certain game (e.g. SNES Donut Plains 3 using MK8’s version), but some have a whole new concept, like Sniki’s HD DS Shroom Ridge remake! Although I’m not really sure if I call a track “retro” if a track is ported from a game released after the game it is in, like 3DS Toad Circuit in MKWii, or DS Delfino Square in MKDD. These airpod cases look interesting!

It exists ! It is called CTGP revolution, you can play on about 200 custom and old tracks (like Yoshi circuit or baby park) on your Wii !

MK8 was released in 2014. Since then we only got MK8 Deluxe (a port) MK Tour (a spinoff) MK Live Home Circuit (not even a spinoff) and I think we also got some Arcade games but I'm not sure about that. It's just ridiculous how we didn't get a new real mainline Mario Kart game for over 7 years now.

@ANDREW MK8 was the last Mario kart that got released on a console. Btw not including Deluxe same game lol. But yeah I hope they will reveal a new Mario kart game for the Nintendo switch pro.

That's a coin mode. It's present in many Mario Kart 64 ROM hacks. You collect all 8 coins on the map and you can get an automatic star!
