You are definitely my favorite inspiration to start my day. You should monetize your videos to make all you do for us worth your while. You should be getting paid for all your efforts. Though I can't afford to contribute through patreon a commercial or 2 is well worth what we learn and the inspiration gained. And consider setting up a patreon account. I'm sure you have followers that would be happy to and able to contribute.

Every one cannot be able to pay for patreon account. Though this is a good idea for her . Some of her followers will be left out from her beautiful tutorial.

i am thinking about it to be honest .... maybe if i get 3000 subs.... ads can be skipped if you dont like them ha ha ha i Personally wouldnt go the Patreon route as this is my hobby really... and its fun... i dont want it to become a chore if that makes sense xx

I really enjoyed this tutorial Kathryn. I’m looking forward to watching part 2 right now. I’m doing a mosaic right now and I’m only doing different techniques I’ve learned with altering the clay. This will be a great one. Thank you! 🥰🥰🥰❤️❤️❤️

Love those colours together Kath. I feel like you re Fimo. Have found it very difficult to condition especially in the winter. The blue agate does have that plaquing effect - there’s a pale green which is similar. 🐨

Katherine, I do enjoy your videos and I have a baking question. Do you place your items in a cold oven and bring it up to temp, if so do you count that as time? Also do you turn the oven off and let them cool inside?
@KathrynHalstead
@KathrynHalstead 3 жыл бұрын
Hi No I've never done that .....i turn my oven on, bring up to stable temp. then bake my pieces on a cold tray with a tile and paper with a cardboard tent, then remove after timer and either cool naturally or use cold water to cool if I'm filming.

Question... I hear a lot of complaints that the uv resin you use (and me) yellows after a year Have you had any problems? How long have you been using it? Thx💕
@KathrynHalstead
@KathrynHalstead 3 жыл бұрын
hi Rhonda, yes I've heard similar things... I've had no issues so far after about 2 yrs, I wont use it on white though as it looks yellow immediately. I only use it as a glaze/varnish though never thick like some folk do .
