Poor guy. No matter what, he's still my favourite 80's hero. I grew up with Airwolf as a child. RIP, Jan!

Airwolf was amazing. Definitely my favorite show as a kid. We all go through hard times, Jan is no different. He still has my respect. Thank you for the memories Sir. You and Mr. Borgnine. Both great actors. :)

Air Wolfe was ahead of its time. Time for remake.
@RobertReno16 жыл бұрын
Agreed! Definitely time for remake/update. Bring back original actors in supporting roles for a new cast. Never liked the last Canadian-made season with Barry Van Dyke, but could still see them in supporting roles - so long as the production, style (perhaps similar to the film "Stealth"?), writing, and direction are all top-notch. The acting is already there, though. Think about it... String and St. John as a "Top Gun" style instructors; Caitlin as an engineer; Archangel as the new head of the Firm...the possibilities are endless. Thumbs up! Thanx! :)

@@RobertReno1 Nope. let it lie. Look what happened with the Knight Rider reboot.
@RobertReno15 жыл бұрын
@@joecoolioness6399 Did I or did I not say "great top-notch production"? I agree TV series reboots today suck - ALL of them! The only show that did it right was Star Trek TNG. Choose the best of the best to make the show then syndicate it. I DEFINITELY wouldn't trust CBS to reboot Airwolf. Their reboots are the worst! I really wouldn't even want a reboot at all, but rather a series continuation or Airwolf. Network reboots try to pretend the first series never happened. I think that's why reboots suck so much. CBS doesn't really know what the viewing public wants and forgot what the meaning of "originality" is. The best production and writing is the ONLY way I'd watch an Airwolf show. And if we are talking about Knight Rider, don't even get me started on Team Knight Rider! OMG I hurl just THINKING about it! Eww. lol :)

We live in a society where people can't accept the truth. If you do, you are an outcast of society. If you don't, you can fit it and be accepted to a point of achieving success; however, that success comes at an ultimate cost! More and more people are relying on their ability to mask the truth to achieve their success. Our society caters, fosters, and promotes such deception & manipulation to the point that their reward is this financial success, their stardom, or professional rise to fame & recognition. However, our competitive nature in society has reached a point that it will destroy humanity if we continue this much further. Actors are one of the most deeply embedded into such a fantasy life of existence. And the set of crises that actors like Jan Michael Vincent suffer from is due to the stress that this contradiction creates! They aren't like the actor's roles that bring them to stardom. Thus they don't want people to know their true selves and having relationships on any truthful, honest level becomes difficult and is sometimes virtually impossible. This destroys many actors. In the same way (many decades later) it is beginning to play a similar role on all members of modern-day society in every profession we see before us. The reason is because we aspire to be something that is not real, is not truthful, and that deception is not beneficial to our society. Therefore, our success is then forced to come from our demise. This demise is the paradoxical collapse of such a society and we are witnessing such a fate before our very eyes in all facets of human civilization.

I wish I had them funds and the money I would buy the rights to this project TV show and bring it back The biggest mistakes that they did was they should have fired Jane Michael Vinson the first day he showed up drunk to the premiere the first day of shooting he showed up drunk you don't do that at a job you get fired what caused the show to fail was when they got rid of the real footage of the helicopter and started using other episodes scenes of the helicopter for USA purposes they never used real footage of the helicopter was always edited footage from other episodes secondly they put cheesy cut out cardboard characters in the final season of airwolf characters that weren't enduring weren't necessary then they took airwolf and put a base inside the lair with computers and all this technology you can't do that inside that cave with a helicopter your papers had blown the hell when they turn the helicopter on the fly out it looks so hokey they climb in the helicopter while people are outside and take off using again edited footage of the helicopter this is the reason it fell apart I'd bring airwolf back and make it good better again
