Wish there were more games with GT1 championships, seems as if they have been forgotten about, it's almost like GT1 never even existed.

Yes, it's too bad that the GT1 class seems to be getting forgotten more and more in racing games.

I feel the same. GT1 holds a special place in my heart as it was the first GT series I knew about back when this game was new. To this day, Shift 2 is the only racing game that features all the licensed cars and tracks from the 2010 season, and although you can't race them in any official format (driver swaps, pitstops, time-based, etc.), it's still the closest you can get to the full GT1/GT3 experience. Trust me, one day the series will get the recognition it deserves.

Maserati MC12 LMGT1 in NFS SHIFT 2 UNLEASHED sounds fantastic and the interior onboard camera is way more detailed than in Gran Turismo 7!
