Retro Tech UK 2023 Vintage Electronics Fair at the Sports Connexion near Coventry (storm troopers included) - which was formally called the National Vintage Communications Fair, (NVCF) established in 1992.
As this was our first visit for almost 30 years, I wasn't sure what to expect. However, it was much better than anticipated, around 150 stalls with quality items at great prices - we will defiantly be returning next year and beyond, look at the end of this video to see my haul!

Yes, most of the gear at the event is generally in great condition. This year's show was just as good, if not better. Keep an eye on my channel for the video of this year's show sometime next weekend.

I'm literally hearing about this the actual day before the 2024 event. Had I known would've definitely taken the trek up to Coventry. Gutted ☹Looking forward to see your posts for this year. Have a good one !

Sorry to hear you missed out. I can confirm that this year's show was equally as good. I've taken quite a bit of footage; hopefully, my upcoming video will ease your disappointment, and maybe you'll make it to next year's event.

Very interesting exhibition of old radios,record players,transistors etc.also radio parts which are not available now.I also require old radio parts .But here in my place no hope.

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed the RetroTech fair. Finding old radio parts can indeed be challenging depending on your location. You could try looking online at sites like eBay or specialized forums for vintage electronics enthusiasts. Local antique shops can also be good resources. Best of luck with your search! Yes, the show is awesome. Hopefully, I'll be there for the 2024 retro tech event. I'll have another look around; subtitles maybe? In the UK, we do have a great fun addition to our language, though. It's called 'Banter,' which can sometimes be difficult for other nationalities to decipher.

Yes, generally, vintage radios is an older gentleman's sport, although I did see quite a few younger faces.

It's every year for the public, the next one is Sunday 12th May 2024 Have a look at the RetroTechUK website for more info, there are more venues around the UK but you have to subscribe to the British Vintage Wireless Society (BVWS) as its members only.

Those Hacker radios look good, was he charging much for them?

The radios were superb; he just specializes in Hacker. I do remember the prices being quite reasonable. I think they were somewhere between £40 and £60, but I can't be exactly sure. The only way to find out is if you can make it to this year's show on Sunday, May 12th.

Thanks for your input. My video style involves no planning, and filming is done on the fly. My eye will naturally seek out my own particular interests, and that's where the camera will follow. Unfortunately, I can't please everyone, which is why I made two videos: to capture as much as possible while at the same time enjoying the event myself. It was an awesome show, and I'm looking forward to this year's event.
