Regarding the ROMs folder it isn't entirely true, you can have it anywhere inside the RetroArch sandbox. For example, I have ROMs next to the RetroArch folder, because it's easier to navigate to, rather than looking for it among all the RA system folders.

Any way to download new cores? I had RetroArch 1.17.0 sideloaded and had 3D0, Pico-8, Doom, and Mame 2003 cores. This new version on the App Store is 1.18.0 removed 3DO (which does not use JIT), Pico-8, and Mame 2023??! WHY??? They removed Doom and Wolfenstein but kept Quake?? It makes no sense!

Are there any better touch screen overlays or borders for the buttons? Default setup seems pretty bad, buttons are obscuring the game and there’s extra buttons like L3 that don’t quite make sense for systems like SNES. Would love if there were some better skin options

Hello…can you help for setup PS1 game in retroarch? I’d dump the BIOS file in the system folder but still cannot load any PS1 game successfully….it keep on popup fail to load content…what did I miss or what’s wrong?

But how do we play games that has multiple disks. I came to the end of a game that has 3 disks, now the game is telling me to insert disk 2, how do I do that?

Ive done the process correctly from what I can tell, downloading and making a ROMs folder etc, I scan for the roms and it picks them up but there is no playlist created, did I do something wrong or do I need to create them myself somehow?

Trying to play n64 games, but they play too fast. At the Frame Throttle menu, Fast-Forward Rate is set to 0.0x. V-sync is also on. On an M2 iPad. Games run fine on Apple TV though.

Strange -- @RetroCrisis RetroArch did NOT create a new folder in Files after install. Also doesn't come up in search either. How do I get that folder to show in Files ?

Is anyone else having issues with N64 games running very poorly? My iPad is playing everything perfectly, including PS1, but N64 games are extremely jittery and choppy. I can play any game I want except for N64 games.

I've use RetroArch many time on PC and Android, but boy everything on iPhone is stupidly annoying to use.
