Generally I think I made it, but I didn't check it yet, because is sunny outside. I have to wait to the evening. The problem was with FZD in my car, because I have e91 with SOS function i my roof module and the connectors look different than on your video. I have used green and orange wire to replace them by bridge. All seems to be fine, no errors on dashboard. I also recoded my modules (CAAPL, FLA, KOMBI,NFRM).Thanks a lot, your video was really helpful. I'll let you know later how it works

Hi, For a 1 series, as you said, you need to install the antenna in the mirror too unless you buy one mirror from e93 or e8x. It is not so difficult but opening the mirror is a pain in the ass. Regards.

Yes, you can apply most of my DIY to your e87. The 1-Series and 3-Series share the same software and ECU's so everything will be working on your car ;) Cheers!

hi bud,ive been busy with the retrofit and have already remove FZD module as well as installed the new autodim mirror with the FLA camera.However,i have noticed that BMW has used different colour cables on harnesses as my harness has different colours from the cables in your video.if appears that that are two connectors on FZD,far left and right which a bridge needs to be created between them,then a connector on that bridge for the FLA camera,is that correct?

Hola Jose, He comprado un retrovisor interior con LED, EC, GTO, FLA. Mi coche es un E60 LCI del 2007 y ahora tiene uno manual/LED y el coche está equipado con sensor de luces y lluvia. Para reequipar este retrovisor me hace falta un conector para conectar estas otras funciones nuevas, pero no sé qué conector es exactamente y no sé dónde buscar su referencia. You have to add two wires for CAN Bus (between the mirror and the FZD) Also you have to add other five wires for autodim (there is a retrofit kit available at your dealer for 25€, you can also download the diagrams from my channel, see my other video) Tell me what do you exactly need.

I was referring to the software. If you want FLA working you have to select the 'Auto' position at the light selector. I don't know if you could get it working without RLS but I don't bet for it. - Auto position -> you can choose if you want FLA by enabling 'High Beam' - '2' Position -> FLA is not working at all, you have to switch between low and high beam manually. Maybe you can set some parameters at your FRM in order to get FLA working in '2' position. I don't know.

Hi, If you see the diagram at 1:28, you will notice that Im connecting the mirror to the original CAN bus line of the car. You can see the results at 2:25. The wire has 3 parts. - One of them goes to the mirror - The 2nd one goes to he FZD connector (you have to remove the original CAN wires and plug the new one) - At the 3rd part you have to plug the 2 wires you removed at the previous step. It is only a way to connect it without soldering or cutting wires... But you can do it in other way.

Hello Jose, I did a retrofit on my 2009 LCI e90 as you said here. Everything was ok until the end but when i push left stick the Auto highbeam icon dosent show up on instrument cluster and nothing works. Everything acts as before retrofit. I manage to read the module and also to reset but i had no succes. Managed also to code the idrive so the option to show up. Any ideas on NFRM or why it dosent work?!
