That was impressive. It only took a couple of pulls before it started, not bad for a mower that's been standing outside for 5 years and only had a basic refurb.

Howdy from Texas, I'm gonna show ya a terrible lawnmower that I got layin around, it's an 86 sears craftsman that was converted into a racing mower years ago, needless to say that motor was worn out before it has sat forever

i had a hayter same as yours but i lost the spark to the plug.I didnt investigate and gave it to the local scrap man (my elder brother no less!!!) Great vid Matin you should re name the channel Lazarus lawnmower restoration

Bit late to the Martin been to Dorset nans funeral . The older briggs only have the large spring but your missing the throttle cable . But fair ran ok. Cheers Pete.

I did I was watching them in order and jumped the gun. Thank you, I can't wait to see if the coil get's it going, If you get a chance show us just a bit of the ( I'm guessing blower ) on the bottom that makes the cushion of air for it to float on, if that's what they do. I've never had the opportunity to see one on this side of the pond.

Hey im 13 yrs old and i fixed 3 push mowers (and there was 2 briggs n stratton and one tecumesa) and i fixed a weed wacker and a riding mower but i junked them all cuz they all broke lol

weld a plate on the back, closing the discharge. Cut a hole in the side for new discharge. Also your getting lucky not checking the spark before you pull your arm off...
