look like all your area is now slowly outsource to online auction. Stop donating to goodwill and supporting them. The online prices are insane more than ebay. The shipping take aegis. No return policy everything sold as is.

I still say my most coveted found was in a local pawnshop back in 2007. I managed to find a copy of Chrono Trigger for the SNES for $3. The label was in really bad shape but it was a legit authentic copy that was used as a video store rental. I opened the cart up gave it a deep clean and replaced the battery and capacitors and she still works like a charm to this day.

When NFL Blitz was in the arcade, a lot of the cabinets had a slot where you could insert your N64 memory card and play the arcade game with your N64 game saves. After a while, when the arcade game was getting updates, that feature was removed and a metal plate, from what I remember, was put in place to cover up the memory card slot.

as someone opening a gamestore, one of the biggest struggles for me is the POS system, could you do a deeper dive into that? (ik its a big boring) but (how it has all the old games just in the system already) how you calculate your trade-in prices (pricecharting api or your own math alg) and just which POS systems you considered. or if you inherited one from the previous store.

I'm glad someone can actually buy stuff at a pawn shop. My own personal experiences with a pawn shop, limited though they are, have taught me not to trust them. I find them to usually be on the "too shady" side for my tastes. It probably doesn't help that my local pawn shop owner actually got nailed for stolen goods more than once in their career.

internet killed goodwill. everything they can sell for anything goes to the online store. whatever is left over goes to a physical store. that's why you almost never find good stuff in goodwills anymore.

Yeah I haven't stepped foot inside my local goodwill for years. Everytime I go in there all I ever see is overpriced junk. It doesn't help there's a retro game store literally 2 minutes from goodwill so if anything good were to even be there the people at the store would snag it up first thing anyways.

Pawn shops are my favorite place to grab games. All ps2 gen games are $5, all ps3 gen are $7, all ps4 gen are $10. If you buy a stack they give big discounts.

It's interesting to see you still going to the Goodwill to see if you can get any deals there. While I know the video games will probably be a no go you might find either shirts or toys that you might add to the store.

Push-up are gonna work rick. Balooned up to 236 at 5'7 in my 30s. Started to do random sets of push-ups at work and rode my bike to the office and by the end of the year my imfamous muscle v from my college days came back.

The more muscle you have the more calories you will burn even at rest. Push ups are a good starting point :)

You should want ppl to pay taxes. You should also encourage your politician to spend that money on your local public transportation. So you can have more customers walking into your store.

This is exactly why you never "donate" anything to Good Will. Most people donate to them thinking they will give it to some needy kid. Nope instead they profit off of people's charity and price competitively so that re-sellers swoop it up and turn their money over quickly.

Big fan of the channel. I’m a physician. I see you exercising which is a net positive for your life, but if you’re goal is to drop weight, lose all carbs for 2 weeks and watch what happens. Then introduce carbs back in slowly.

Dvds will make a huge comeback imo. Too many streaming services, and they don't even have full libraries. Dogma, for example is not on any platform. And that scumbag harvy weinstein still personally owns the movie rights so Kevin Smith can't even make a sequel or anything
