Dude! I was just SAYING that today! I was in Starbucks earlier reading and some tatted broad with ripped jeans stood no further away than 5' right in front of me and I turned to a guy and said "Some tatted broads will do anything for attention!" During that time period any video of Ann Margaret dancing she was always braless and always made sure she shook her breasts enough to make sure you knew it. One of the best examples was her appearance on Johnny Carson show. She sat down and her nipples were hard and she intentionally kept the thin wrap she had on pulled back and even arches her back a few times to make them front and center. When she did her dance routine they looked like a pair of window washers running wide open the way they were moving under that shirt.

Oh yeah! Lovely ladies every one! I'd like to thank them all for their contributions to our lives. Honestly. This song was when ELO had beef with Bruce Springsteen. He said something disparaging about them in an interview, so they wrote him a little classic rock song for all time. That's the story I heard, and I'm sticking to it. Interestingly, tho, Bruce never broke his glass. It's still full.

Don't know if the situation was as you outline it, but the original lyric was 'groos' (a no meaning nonsense word), not Bruce. It became such a widespread misheard lyric, they changed the word in later performances.

Recently saw a Bob Hope 'Salute Our Troops' USO dance show featuring Ann Margaret, Raquel Welch, & Joey Heatherton. OMG !!! Again, no tattoos, piercings, or plastic surgery enhancements.
