Return to Lindisfarne!!! - Holy Island Archaeology Project

4 жыл бұрынA couple of weeks ago Mrs Soup and I popped up to Lindisfarne to see what the wonderful Dave Petts and the Holy Island Archaeology Project was up to.
It was a little windy but I managed to film a brief lecture over-viewing the site and its history along with a mini site-visit.
Not bad for an afternoon 'on vacation'! ;p

The Lindisfarne Gospels were written in the sixth century by Celtic monks

They were written in the early C8th 715-720 and were written by Northumbrian monks who were part of the so-called Celtic Christian tradition :)
