Return to Osaka and No Good Racing Track Day!!...

A few weeks after Wekfest Atlanta, I was back on a plane once again, this time flying back to Osaka, Japan for the Wekfest Japan event. I wanted to spend a few extra days in Osaka to hang out with some friends there so I follow Yasu around as we live regular life in Japan and get into some random shenanigans as well. With everyone off during Japan's 10-day long "Golden Week" celebration, we link up with some of the guys from No Good Racing and head to Nakayama Circuit for a day of fun on the track...

Man always great videos your friend yasu seems like he'd be fun to hang with. Cars like there's are what inspire me clean amazing builds but you can tell they put in work. Also the extent of how far they go just one of a kind. That track looked like it suited the smaller chassis cars well.

B Series with a bad distributor, never! LOL! I will always go to the track with a spare cap and rotor, probably a whole distributor to play it safe. I've lost two sets of cap and rotors on track when I needed the time to practice. Once at Circuit of the Americas and another at Road America.

I'm a life time racer, now retired. Mostly motorcycles. CCS in south Florida. Daytona, Homestead and Moroso were my regional home tracks. The track in this video I would absolutely not push any and all possible limits on do to the fact there is ZERO run off space what so ever! One mistake (and they frequently happen) your going to destroy whatever car you are driving, and if on a motorcycle! well that would just be a suicide waiting to happen. No thanks. It would be a fun track to drive around but I sure as hell wouldn't push it! Just an opinion from a veteran racer my friends.....Jim. CCS #752, FUSA #60

So the Red Bull Civic ran around a 1:10 and the Pink Shark was around a 1:08. What is a good lap time on that track?

Tom Stevens 1:08 is typically pretty fast on that track.

It's quite common for cars in Japan to have television. It's almost standard issue these days. They don't have laws that prevent people from watching tv while driving.

No they just dont have all the swap parts easily accessible. Depends on race series and what not maybe one make race and you cant have a K in them. Plus they dont care about max power its about handling more so they do just fine as is.

B series is more accessible since all Civics in japan got b-16 stock while UDM got those shitty eco d-16 🤷🏽‍♂️

B series is better. Only in America do people take a perfect chassis and destroy it with a kswap. In japan they usually like corners.
