Welcome back to the channel, in this video Natasha and I hook up the ultimate and head to the south coast of nsw, we head back down to where Natasha broke her ankle and then decided to camp elsewhere. We found a great spot near a nice swimming spot and relax for the weekend before heading home we try some other tracks and get caught out by a large down tree.

I will still do my 4x4 ones occasionally because I enjoy that too but i can tell by the views this style is better. These types of weekends are a bit more enjoyable too 😅. You didnt see 2 lunatics pedalling push bikes around that weekend did you 😂 I recently did a bikepacking trip down the south coast, we ended up having a swim in the Clyde River because it was so hot. Good to see the bush coming back from these 2019 / 2020 fires!

Thanks mate , really appreciate it. I have put a link in the description for the fire shield its an oz barrier. I have the 4 panel in 4mm , I reckon the 3 panel 3 mm would be enough. Works really well hey , i like it. Burn less wood , reflects the heat and light and of course good for the wind 👍👍. Maybe I should do a short video on it

Beautiful spot Shad👍I won't be cheeky enough to ask where this is, but I'm curious how you find these spots? Are they usually national parks? I'm just starting to get into weekend trips around Sydney with the family, and my fear is turning up somewhere on a Friday arvo and finding all spots taken and nowhere to set up camp!

Awesome mate, thanks for watching. Mainly it’s state forest or crown land because they are a bit more open to the type of camping we do , sometimes national parks though. As for finding them we just do heaps of exploring, as an example after leaving this campsite on the Sunday we drove out another way and found another really awesome spot , you’ll see that in the future 🤠. Yeah my greatest fear is also turning up somewhere and there is no spot to camp as you know we like to get a little spot too ourselves, and it’s become very hard. Also Hipcamp could be a good option in the future. Cheers shad

Hi mate, the firepit and grill is a snowpeak and the windshield that stands behind is an ozbarrier

Thanks for jumping on board mate and hope you enjoy the ultimate, the toilet we have is a thetford porta potti 145 , its pretty old now , over 10 years. The fire pit we use is the snowpeak large fire pit. Cheers shad
