The new returnable glass line for our customer Quality Beverages has been successfully installed and commissioned and is convincing with a capacity of up to 18,000 bottles per hour. Soft drinks such as Pepsi are reliably and sustainably filled into returnable glass bottles on the line. Thanks to the successful cooperation between KHS personnel from Kenya and Germany, the system was able to be installed in compliance with all safety measures despite the ongoing corona pandemic.
The heart of the line is the KHS Innofill Glass DPG bottle filler that can be quickly and easily converted to different bottle sizes. This, in combination with low maintenance effort, makes the system extremely flexible. The Innofill Glass DPG is a pneumatically controlled filling system that not only bottles beverages with the utmost precision but also proves compelling with 50% less CO2 consumed during the filling process.
The glass line also includes an Innoclean SE bottle washer that produces brilliant, hygienic returnable glass bottle cleaning results. One big plus regarding sustainability is the Innoclean SE’s optimized heat and water management system and resulting low energy consumption, enabling it to save on resources.
