Yo Hollow, life got in the way and I haven't been checking your videos nearly as much. Like since Dying Light 2, and I've been watching your for a long ass time. Fortunately I have now, and let me tell you this more mature vibe to the videos, especially this one, is pristine. Not that I didn't before, but these kinds of immersive and thought out chill videos is amazing to sit through with you. Keep on keeping on brother.

Beat this game in about a week, and honestly was one of the best games I've played in a long while. The atmosphere, combat and difficulty were perfect. Hyperion boss battle was amazing. Traversing up that tower and hearing the organ.

This is the type of game I pick up when I'm bored, try my best for an hour or two, and then put it down. I have a great time even if I haven't made it past the first boss yet simply because of how brilliant the core mechanics are. Or at least I don't think I've beaten the first boss. I beat the big aggressive tentacle monster, but not the one when you fall down that large pit.

Please play the whole thing 🥺 It's such a pretty game, and the bosses are the most beautiful, crazy and scary ones I've ever seen. Phrike, Nemesis, and Hyperion are the best. Phrike has such an eerie presence. The attacks are so... interesting Nemesis is absurd, absolutely massive, and the crazy 3x phases And finally, Hyperion, the boss who plays his own theme music, is very tragically beautiful 😍

Just finished a run on ps5 and I have to say this gameplay can’t be matched by many, absolutely awesome combat and most adrenaline boss fights I think I’ve done, hoping they make number 2!

Just got it on PC. I bought it release day on PS5 to. Running it on a 4090, 32gb ram, 13900k. My settings are the same as yours, except i left a few on high not epic. It runs awesome. I'm not getting a stuttering yet. Using the MKB is a huge advantage and with a game like this you need it.

I finally beat biome 6 today, after 62 hrs of play time. Now I need to start back at biome 1 to do the third act and get the true ending. Brilliant game.

Would you mind doing a side by side comparison of the footage of this video with the relevant parts of the previous walkthrough? I've been trying to pair them up manually but this one seems better. Best PS5 [console] exclusive. Sad that I would gladly pay for a dlc expansion but they haven't done any. Probably wouldn't do great on your channel since it's older and kinda different but if you enjoy this genre (rogue likes) then you really need to play Hades, even if just in your own time and not recording. It's the crown jewel of the genre and a sequel is coming at some point.

Using my mouse and keyboard helps me way more than using my PS5 controller. Yesterday I saw alot of PC players on Twitch using a controller for Returnal. Maybe its just me but Im mostly on PC more than I am on my ps5 so M+K feels more comfortable. I even found it easier for me to use M+K on Spiderman. I saw Last of Us remake on the STEAM store to but the date changed it still says next month I wanna see how that feels with a M+K.

imagine this game having adaptive A.I where every time you die the aliens learn your fight, movement and trajectory patterns to the point where you literally have to rethink every single step on top of the return cycle that would be freakin cool making the gameplay truly demanding and worth the effort

Looks dope, I've never seen a high graphics rogue-lite game, but i cant justify $70 cad for a game that seems to have 10-15 hours of gameplay (every steam review has under 15 hours) .. I'll wait for a sale.
