Two years ago, I took you on a journey to explore an abandoned portion of a railroad line not far from where I grew up. Now, after a long hiatus, I'm back to explore another portion of the line! Today, I'm examining the track that runs from Lake Avenue in Wilmette to the North Branch Trail in Northfield. My exploration includes an old railroad bridge and confirmation of something I long suspected regarding the number of tracks on the line!
