I grew up in New Hampshire, and I've lived in Maine for 20 years now. All that green grass, woods, forests is what I love and know so well. I am a country girl through and through. Growing up I had a giant field on one side of our house and wood across the street. Those two places were my playgrounds. I love it! I am NOT a city girl at all. I don't mind visiting the city as long as I am with people who know where all the cool, fun places to go. Now I'm back to living in the country and I love it. I've been here 15 years now.

Poor Crystal every time she travels outside Arizona and sees greenery 🌲🌴she goes “wow look at the trees, the grass it’s so green!” Lol, I live around a lot of vegetation and I think I take it for granted seeing it on the daily. This is a reminder to appreciate what we do have. Also what a heartwarming trip, so beautiful! 💕

When she was talking about how beautiful Michigan is.... it turty beautiful.. I live in Michigan ther's an awesome 400 acre place and a hour from her uncle with a river and a private lake on it. Plus 20 lakes within 20 miles would be a perfect build site that Aarons looking for...

It's amazing that you and Aaron grew your family through fostering and adoption, and with each child you added, you grew your family even more, because you welcomed your kids' biological families into yours as well. I don't know how many adoptive families are as open to keeping the bio families of their adoptive kids such an active part of the kids' lives. Clearly, you and Aaron have hearts with infinite capacities for love and acceptance. The world could learn a great deal from the two of you and your family. ❤

How wild is it, that foster care and adoption (specifically sibling groups) has been such a HUGE part of building your family… and this was your story and the story of your children all along. This could destroy some families, but this seems to be the best things to happen to you all. It’s beautiful.

Love this video! I was adopted, and when I turned 18(I’m 36 now) I tracked my birth dad down. He was old enough to be my grandpa. I had a 3 hour phone conversation…he was dying so I didn’t get to meet him. Well, I had an older brother and sister and then 3 other sisters out there. I knew just their first names. I used an adoption search angel to find them. I never wanted to meet my 3 sisters because of how things went with my older sister. I regret not trying to have a relationship with her because she passed away from early onset Alzheimer’s. My oldest brother is old enough to be my dad. It was magical meeting him though. We looked so much alike it’s not even funny.

Meeting my children’s birth families over the years have been unforgettable experiences. We had one opportunity where all 3 families attended a special event. My children are not bio related. My mom and sister, my son’s 2 sisters and their adoptive mom, and my daughter’s birth dad and sister were together. Families of the other children at the event saw my daughter and her sister hugging, realized who she was because they look so alike and they cried happy tears also. The magic moments in your video brought back all those feels. Thank you for sharing your new and rekindled family members!

My mom and 2 uncles just reunited with their long-lost brother after 65+ years. I was so blessed to meet him as well. We had a reunion/birthday party because 2 of my uncles (one long-lost) have the same birthdays. I meet cousins, an aunt, an uncle, and many other relatives. I am hoping that your reunion is as blessed as our family's was.

My story is similar to yours. I was 46 when I found out I had a full biological brother, we found out about him the day after losing our mom. Neither she or my dad ever told us about him, He learned about us several years before we found him. He respected my mom's wishes and never tried to contact us. It's been 11 years since we were reunited.

Hope they get reunited with their brother Paul. Aurora has the best of both worlds . She’s growing up with love & her situation being truthful. She’ will always have that special bond with Jamie. Being honest with her will make her a strong woman & she will never feel abandoned. ❤❤❤❤❤❤

I'm not going to comment on how great the family is, because everyone has covered all aspects of the family. But I will comment on the playground equipment. I was in Elementary School from 1970, to 1977. I grew up in Compton, Ca and everything on our school playground, was metal, and in the dirt. We had a very tall swing set, with about 6 to 8 swings. The poles on that swing set, were really thick. The Merry Go Round, wasn't any fun, unless you were flying off the thing. We had Monkey Bars, but we also had the Monkey Rings. They were big rings, that you swung one by one, or if you could skip one or two, to get to the other side. You had to jump up, and grab onto the rings, unlike the Monkey bars, where you had steps to grab hold of the bars. We even had a Teeter Totter. Those were the days. Melinda looks just like her dad. ❤

Crystal, I want to thank you for handing your family dynamic with such grace and love. The fact that you are so welcoming to your kids biological family members is amazing. I was raised as the oldest child, and found out at 16 years old my mom gave up a baby girl for adoption before I was born. We were so lucky to meet her, and get to know her, but my mother handled it so poorly that she really tore apart the relationships we were developing. My mother was super jealous of my 1/2 sisters adoptive family, and really tried to tear them apart, where she really should have embraced them and thanked them for taking such good care of my sister. She really made my sisters life so difficult that she had to step away and protect herself and her family. Please continue to encourage your children to grow in love, and know their family members.

I always find it endearing how much you enjoy seeing greenery. I’ve lived in the NE the majority of my life, including Tawas City, MI. I’ve grown up knowing nothing other than green rolling hills and mountains. My childhood was in the country with tons of green and dirt roads. I truly miss it now that I live in CT, in the suburbs. I still live among tall trees and green but it isn’t the same. It just warms my heart that people appreciate the beauty of the country and the green that comes with it. Do you find that the air smells different from AZ when you visit somewhere that has a lot of trees and grass? I find the air is purer the further into the country I get.

What a great trip. Tears of joy for everyone. My sister was a adopted into my family and we found her brothers and mom. Before my sister passed away she made memories either in person or via phone. Saddest part was I was scheduled to take her to see her brother that she never met but always knew about but she passed away from her illness suddenly. We went on and met him for her. What a wonderful man he is.

Yes, Crystal and Aaron would help so many perspective adoptive parents, and all the beautiful children involved, understand that "There is Enough Love" to go around, for everyone involved!!! It will also hopefully help some to understand that not all adoptions happen because of bad bio-parenting, more of "I want what is best for my child," type of situation. Yes, I do know that is not the case for everyone, though. It is definitely a case by case situation, with the safety of the child as the utmost priority!!! This was truly one of the best videos ever❤❤❤!!!

Bless you for bringing families together rather than creating distance and segregation. Some people could learn so much from your experiences of how much joy that brings. At the heart of it all are the children, whatever age they are, and too many people forget that ❤

These 2 videos have been your most heartwarming ones, I think. And I haven't missed one since I started following you. You are such a beautiful family and I'm so glad I found yours' and Shelly's channels a few years ago. You, Crystal, are the ultimate adoptive mom. I hope that many other adoptive parents find your channel and learn from you. It is so beautiful how you encourage and enable your kids to keep in touch with their bio families when it is safe to do so. I think of you all as my KZfaq family. Blessings from Canada.

I loved this video and how they took Jamie and Melinda's day to visit with Crystal's uncle's family. I hope they all get to visit with each other in Arizona soon.
