Ted has fallen in love. It all started when his best friend, Marshall, drops the bombshell that he plans to propose to longtime girlfriend Lily, a kindergarten teacher. Suddenly, Ted realizes that he had better get a move on if he hopes to find true love. Helping him in the quest is Barney, a friend with endless -- often outrageous -- opinions, a penchant for suits and a foolproof way to meet women. When Ted meets Robin, he is sure it's love at first sight, but the affair fizzles into friendship. Voice-over by Bob Saget ("Full House") tells the story through flashbacks.

I think peoples two most iffy things about this show are the laugh track and the fact its somewhat sexist. Personally this is by far my favorite sitcom of all time but I will admit that every time I watch, it kinda ages worse lol. Still I love it so glad you are coming back to it.

I'm so glad you're coming back to this show! I got all the seasons on DVD, the final season released when I was close to graduating high school. Now for a random fact: Jason Segel did the robot completely on his own when saying "it is on till the break of dawn." He had asked the directors if he could, and they said "do it if you want, we're not saying yes or no" so that laugh from Ted was genuine.

Alyson hannigan was the only one I need going into this well no I mean Neil Patrick Harris from when I was a kid and he had doogie howser MD I didn't know the other ones from anything yet but Jason segel I've seen in some movies now and the I can't think of the girls name who plays Robin she is in the MCU as one of the shield agents

Such a stupid mess up with the story. In the last episode marshal says he has never been in a fight. In later episodes he is a bad ass. And had many fights.
