Thank you for this message. I have been preparing a study along this line. So I was thrilled to hear this. We are not saved "in" sin we are saved "from" the power of sin. Through the power of Christ we can stop sinning. 1T 341 "Satan... is not off his watch for a single moment, through fear of losing an opportunity to destroy souls. It is important that God's people understand this, that they may escape his snares. Satan is preparing his deceptions, that in his last campaign against the people of God they may not understand that it is he."

Dragon: truth is self determined. Do what you will. Beast: truth is determined by the church. Salvation by works (rites and rituals), salvation by purchase (penance). False prophet: truth is determined by popular consensus. Saved in sin apart from works (once saved always saved).

None need be deceived. The law of God is as sacred as His throne, and by it every man who cometh into the world is to be judged. There is no other standard by which to test character. "If they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them." Now, shall the case be decided according to the Word of God, or shall man's pretensions be credited? Christ says, "By their fruits ye shall know them." If those through whom cures are performed, are disposed, on account of these manifestations, to excuse their neglect of the law of God, and continue in disobedience, though they have power to any and every extent, it does not follow that they have the great power of God. On the contrary, it is the miracle-working power of the great deceiver. He is a transgressor of the moral law, and employs every device that he can master to blind men to its true character. We are warned that in the last days he will work with signs and lying wonders. And he will continue these wonders until the close of probation, that he may point to them as evidence that he is an angel of light and not of darkness. 2SM 50.4

Yes, Satan knows that the sealed ones are beyond his reach. Before COP is Satan's last opportunity to destroy the faith of God's people.

I am so happy that he answered the question of many who can't believe that Satan's impersonation of Christ is after the close of probation. We all have free will and Satan will try to test God's people after close of probation to prove that God doesn't know who is safe to save.

Incorrect on devil personating Christ after close of probation. Devils greatest deception after cop? You open yourself to being deceived if you believe that teaching. Think it through!

Well like he said, both positions are supported in the writings of Ellen White. Having studied it out myself, it is entirely reasonable to conclude that Satan's personation of Christ occurs not just before and after, but rather THROUGH the close of probation. Don't forget, Satan's personation is custom tailored. To the catholic world, he appears as the Eucharistic Jesus. To the Latter Day Saints, he appears as the Mormon Jesus. To the Evangelical world, he appears as the Millennial Jesus. Satan can only be one place at a time and his assaults do not stop until Christ returns.

Actually it's more logical and safer to believe that Satan impersonates after the close of probation than before as it would mean you've focused on developing a character before the final test where as if people believe Satan's final deception is before probation ends they might wait until that occurs to get ready but if they're wrong it would be to late.

Dear pastor McNulty, in the Great Controversy Satan appears as Jesus after probation has closed. The chapter begins with Michael standing up the Satan appears as Jesus. But before the close of probation, he appears as “a stately fair person the world looks up to in reverence, leading them with lightning speed to perdition“. This is in early writing, and she says she asked her angel who it was and he said “it is Satan appearing as an angel of light“. The eighth king of revelation chapter 17 also goeth into perdition. These two are the same entity. Pope Francis is the eighth king since they regained their title of king and seat of the dragon within the Sevenhills in the Lateran basilica. you say so much like you know that these are the truth and that the Holy Spirit is guiding you to this understanding even speaking condescendingly to others like they don’t know what they’re talking about and I just am amazed that you don’t know these things.
