Usha Rautenbach gives a presentation for the Salt Spring Island Historical Society based on her recent research into Reverend E. F. Wilson. The subject will be his dramatic midlife re-evaluation of past work with first nations people: an insight gained long before he came to Salt Spring in 1894. Considering his original position as founder of one of the first residential schools, this re-evaluation was startling.
