@@jesheca_9938 their circle back then (Hip-Hop) is not for the idol-ish environment; even their chosen beauty and lifestyle shows. Once you are within the dance community and you get to be with other great dancers + get to travel wherever because of dancing - it is enough specially if it somehow pay their bills. :D

In fact, many Koreans still nail singing without attending vocal training. Not to mention Rihey is a professional dancer, her breath control is definitely S-class.

@@zay7622 she won singing contest doesn't mean she's vocally trained. Those are 2 different stories.

@@nguyenhatien1787 how do you know she didnt. Obviously she trained her vocals, whether by the help of a professional or just by herself. The fact that she was able to maintain her voice from the time she was just a teenager(when she entered the competition and won) up until now means she's consistently training her voice. Obviously no one would be that good if they didnt train their voice at all (even singing through karaoke is already a training if they do it constantly)

@@zay7622 First, please don't misunderstand my comments as hate towards her, i'm too impressed to be a hater. Second, being trained vocally requires professional help with techniques for healthy singing, and singing in karaoke is not equal to vocal training, it is just practice singing. More, Ri.hey is a professional dancer, not a singer, so my guess is that she won't spend time for vocal training. If she does then it is due to passion, but i doubt she would spend money on something that is now not her main focus. Last, I have heard many unprofessional singers in South Korea, and Ri.hey singing doesn't sound like one with vocal training. She has good breath control, on beat (of course), on pitch, but still sounds raw to me.
