Ngl the studio was good but the wires made it look bad. Ofc you can’t really remove the wires but maybe cable management later on would be good. BTW Austin I’m a huge fan.

Austin when was the fire at your flat, that meant you had to move in with your parents? It utterly blew me away how much you were loved by your fellow tech youtubers (SwiftKey keeps rewriting KZfaqrs as yourubers over & over as I correct it. I'm wondering if this a subtle comment by Microsoft about how KZfaq sees its creators) I remember watching was in effect my introduction to your existence when they came to your parents & handed over I think a trashcan mac, some kit & something like $500, all trying to help you get back onto your feet. Given how much you were clearly loved then I can well imagine you have found ways to pay it both forward & back. The other time I think I remember you being at an event. Was a tech youtube creator hangout at Corsair after Comdex? Where a bunch of people were playing pool in the background & you a bunch of other creators were swapping out between each other running the show - I think it might have been a wan show?? Because of the evils of the KZfaq algorithm despite subscribing years ago I rarely see your content, but thus could be because KZfaq has unsubscribed me from your channel, that certainly has happened to me in the past or you might have blocked me which is fine if you have. Thankfully Sara is willing to put up with me, put I have no idea why? So thanks Sara for putting up with me, and for all the wonderful things you & Austin do on KZfaq!

Hey I remember when Austin's apartment burned down and lost everything. Was heart warming to see the tech YT'er community pull together to help Austin out and get him back on his feet and has come a long way since. That said, was surprised to see his tape backups were still kept on the same site. 😄

I know he has worked his tail off to get where he is at, and it was super cool to just listen to the conversation. It’s also nice that you included the parts where you are acknowledging areas you can grow and improve. I can only imagine the challenge of trying to find something that motivates you to create and also jives with the mysterious algorithm.

Also FYI if you want a fully free alternative to Polycam is to Use something Like meshroom which you feed a few hundred pictures you've taken before hand. But for that you need a decent computer to do the processing.

One of the things I like about Sara is she only has one channel. One vlog can be a polar opposite from the previous videos but that is fine, playlist can group videos if you prefer watching specific vids. It’s refreshing, showing her different interests, and I look forward to her videos more because she doesn’t over saturate KZfaq with multiple channels that basically have the same storyline and obviously just looking for more views/profit.

He should get those archived tapes into offsite storage like a safety deposit box not near the studio. If your studio burns down, all your data is lost unless you have everything in the cloud.

Cool tour! OMG from a guy who protects his customers from catastrophe with good backups: Please get yourself a waterproof, fireproof safe/box for those tape backups. If you had a fire, everything would be gone. Most things are damaged by the fire hose water, FYI. This is the cheapest insurance you'll ever buy.
