Yaya toure deserves to be more recognised by the football club. 230 appearances over 8 years. He was the heart of the midfield in attack and defence and people need to recognise how good he was and the important moments he deliverd for the club.

There is no doubt that Yaya was a pivotal part of the era of the rise of City as a club, and every City fan appreciates his contribution and hold him in high regard. Having said that, honors like these are reserved for the exceptional who changed the club by their presence. And Kompany, Silva and Aguero are clearly the most deserving.
