Also please don’t dose any trace elements you will cause your aquarium to crash. Dosing trace is for people who aquarium is packed full of coral; mainly sps. You will find that just doing a weekly water change is enough to keep your trace elements in check. If your dosing trace elements now you are playing with fire and if you’re unlucky you can kill your coral and even your fish potentially.

When the kh director initiates a test. It will first draw new water into the kh director(pump 1). It will then discard this water (pump 3). It will then pump new water back in (pump 1) and then it will start adding reagent (pump 2) . This is so that any water in the water sample line is fresh water and not old water since the kh director pumps water into to the ph probe to keep it wet at the end of a test. Also check that your water sample filter is on the right way because if not it will struggle to draw up water thus causing pump 1 to keep spinning till you have to cancel.

@@whatthereef pro tip. Thread a maxspect bioball on the end of the water filter to keep it from floating to the surface of the water. Sucks that ghl dont provide a water filter mount like reef factory does with their kh keeper

Man, every time one of your videos pops up the main theme is something is going wrong. You crashed a tank, lost fish, corals are dying. What does that mean? Are you not doing enough research? I would honestly prefer to watch success videos instead constant mistakes lol. The XR15s G6s are great lights and I grow sps at 60% no issues but my tank is not as deep as yours Your tank is a too large for the coral you want to keep. You should've got the XR30s for that size tank you're wanting to keep. Just a friendly piece of advice from someone in the hobby for over 20 years. You can't get so wound up in additives and chemicals. That's how people easily crash a tank.

For the first two months it just ate the food I gave it. This all started a week ago 🤷🏽

@@whatthereef From my understanding they naturally eat (and need) a high fiber diet and eat a lot of sponges. Try Hikari Mega Marine Angel frozen food. And yes, as a fish that grazes all day it would benefit from multiple feedings especially for a fish considered expert level. Anything considered expert only usually have specific feeding requirements. Also if you fold nori into a small thick wad you can feed more and have it last much longer then clipping it on as a sheet.
