Revelation 11: 15-19
Begins the last half of the Tribulation and in Matthew 24, Jesus refers to the last half of the Tribulation as the “Great Tribulation.”
Matthew 24:15-21,
The Abomination of Desolation occurs according to Daniel in the middle of the last week, Daniel 9:27
Notice what Jesus said in verse 21… Great Tribulation up this time. What Jesus is saying is, if you thought the first half of tribulation is bad, you’ve not seen anything yet. Such as the world has never seen.
v. 15 The Seventh Angel blows the last trumpet is blown and the seven judgements
The Seventh Trumpet Judgment, isn’t a single event that occurs, when the Trumpet is blown.
Instead it is the beginning of the process that does not end until the Millennial Kingdom is over. Revelation 10:7, 7 but in the days of the sounding of the seventh angel, when he is about to sound, the mystery of God would be finished, as He declared to His servants the prophets.
In the Days, In the days of the sound of 7th Trumpet. It embodies a period of time. Last half of Tribulation and the end of Millennial reign of Christ.
Revelation 11:15-18,
It’s time to judge the dead and reward the righteous. The dead are not judge until after the Millennial reign of Christ at the Great White Judgement. Revelation 20:11-14,
Refers to the judgement of the dead and then they are thrown in the Lake of Fire which is the second death.
So, the seventh trumpet not only begins to the second half of the Tribulation but it extends all the way to end of the Millennial reign of Christ at the Great White Judgement.
Why does it last the long? Goes that is how long it takes for the Mystery of God to come to fruition/completion.
Revelation 10:7,
Finished- Greek word taleo which means to fulfill or bring to completion.
The mystery of God goes through the second half of Tribulation and goes through the 1000 year reign of Christ.
The Mystery of God: refers to God’s plan of redemption. Romans 16:25-26, Ephesians 6:19, Colossians 2:2
When Jesus came the very first time, He began the process of Redemption. He died for our sins, God raised Him from the Dead, and He ascended to heaven.
Step 1
When the seventh trumpet blows what we have been praying for, Thy Kingdom Come… becomes a reality. Revelations 11:15-
Step 2- when the Seventh Trumpet the Step 2 of the redemptive process begins. Jesus will begin at this time what he started 2000 years ago. But it is a process until the time of Great White Judgment.
After this the redemptive process has been completed.
v. 15, when the final trumpet is blown the Kingdom of this world become the Kingdom of God and His Christ. We will see the second step of this redemptive process as it is laid out in Revelation 12 through 22.
v. 16-17, in verse 17 something is missing. God is always referred to in the Bible as “who is and was, and is to come.” Revelation 1:8. Revelation 4:8,
v. 17 says, KJV they wrote that in but it is not there in the Greek. The One who is and Was, but not referred to the One who is to come. It is because He has finally come.
Kingdom has come of God and His Christ/Christos, meaning His anointed one, or His Messiah.
Because you have taken your great power and began to reign. Lucifer and his people unbelievers fight him for this kingdom.
v. 18 Final Phase of God’s redemptive plan. Look what happens. Five Things Happen when the Kingdom of this world Becomes God’s and His Christ:
1. The Nations become Angry. Means in Greek “Enraged and Bow Up To Fight…”
This began with Cain. Saul Wanted to Kill David, Ahab and Jezebel tried to kill Elijah, Israel wanted to kill the Prophets, The Jews spit in the face of Jesus. We will not have this man reign over us.
2. God Pours out His wrath.
He pours out His wrath through the seven bowl judgments and the rest of the things that takes place in the last three in half years of Great Tribulation. The first three in half years it is God’s judgement but not His wrath.
3. The dead are Judged.
The dead are judged at the Great White Judgement. God is Just, He must punish sin and reward the righteous.
4. The Righteous are rewarded.
Heaven is not a communistic community…it is not a socialist community…The bible says we are rewarded by our works, (we are saved by grace) our attitude and our motives.
5. He will destroy those who destroyed the earth.
This are the ones who hate God and for their wickedness has corrupted God’s creation.
v. 19- Significance understanding Old Testament of Judaism…
The Old Testament Tabernacle is patterned after the Tabernacle in Heaven. Hebrews 8:5, a copy and shadow of Heavenly Tabernacle
