I grew up a Catholic and I can remember my desire to change never happened. But when I became Born again according to John 3, the battle began. God has been changing this life as I've trusted the Lord more and more. Learning to do what Paul said, Imitate me as I imitate Christ. These changes I can't take credit for but by the power of He the Helper the Holy Spirit who dwells within.

Excellent! I too came out of the RC Church after I began to read the Bible. I always heard that in order to change, just keep your eyes on Jesus. This baffled me for the longest time but what I found is after I came to fully believe in grace alone, I became so grateful and had so much peace there was not a lot of reason to sin! I think a lot of sin is just a reaction to stress.

Michael. I was a baptized, confirmed Catholic. A friend of mine invited me to Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa. I went there and listened, Chuck Smith teaching. I never went back to Catholicism. I was set free. Never again, telling me everything I did, was wrong. Never again worried about mortal sin. No more.

Thanks Pastor Paul for this breakdown, as we are strongly seeing a merging of Christianity and pagan on TV. I’ve noticed Christians practicing crystal healing, energy balancing, talking about being goddesses which are all forms of occultism/ paganism. I pray more ‘Christian’s’ began to hear God Truth in His Word.

Thank you Pastor Paul for the many fascinating Biblical insights and sharing the Historical Prophetic background. I learn so much from your teaching and delivery, and greatly appreciate the ministry you bring online. It is a revival for my soul. Repenting and learning to walk in the Spirit, to be a doer and not just an observer. May God continue to bless this ministry.

Wow! Madison WI is 70 miles south of me and yes this just speaks volumes to me right now because of what that area has become! So it would be no surprise to you to learn that this area of Wisconsin has gone far left liberal! But praise the Lord God in all His wisdom and mercy, for He ordained a remnant from every time period of the church age, and is currently doing so even in this Laodecia/apostate church! All glory to God! Even so come Jesus come 🙏🙌👑🎚️🙏🇺🇸🙏🇮🇱

Again and again Pastor Paul thank you. Revelation was once a difficult book to understand, you have opened it up. With all the time periods, darkness and paganism God still holds on to those who stay faithful to Him and his Word. God has also blessed me with your teaching. Blessings to you Pastor Paul and your family.

Could the name written on the white stone be the true name of God which was lost to the centuries as it was an oral tradition and never written down?

I've looked into the doctrine and learned about Nicholas who it was named after, he was so "devoted" to sharing everything with the flock that he started doing and teaching and taking pride in that he was generous enough to share his wife sexually with other leaders and the whole church. Tribes in Africa still do this, in fact my grandpa Jim Howe, a us embassador to Kenya in the 50s was offered this thing. So Jesus is saying the two edged sword cuts out the hypocrisy of this, as we are to be to be married and devoted soley to him as a married couple has devotion solely to themselves in marriage.
@mutantthegreat7963

The term "thoroughly married" also conjures thoughts of a marriage between Christian doctrine and Paganism.

Q: significance of the gifts given to Lord Jesus Christ at His birth? Frankincense, gold and Myrrh, gold for royalty, frankincense burned in temples and Myrrh to anoint our King and High Priest. Significance in Jewish culture of needing three, confirmation of 3 and wisemen Abraham, Issac and Jacob? Considering that the churches from revelations are in modern day Turkey, significance of the earthquakes occuring there? Israeli news spoke on last week, of how Israel is overdue for a earthquake.
@NEChristo

Before WW1 and before WW2 both there was a major earthquake in Turkey. I’m not saying WW3 is coming but I do think the Ezekiel 38,39 War is near. 🙏🏼

Something I learned about the Nicolaitans from a historical not scriptural source is that this was a group of people who followed the teachings of someone named Nicholas. This Nicholas was supposedly a pagan who then converted to Judaism and then Christianity and ultimately tried to mesh piece-meal some of this and some of that into one belief system, comparable to what we would today call pantheism.

A transformed life is great but it does not save you. If it could, then we could save ourselves and how much transformation would be required? Need discernment between salvation and discipleship. In the Greek, repent meant a change of mind. From unbelief to belief and trusting in Jesus alone for salvation.

It is so hard for me to understand how people could be so cruel in the way they killed- it’s really hard to think about and isn’t it difficult to understand how we can trust Jesus with all our hearts then still be tortured and killed in such a heinous way - eaten alive by animals, burned at the stake etc yet it happened and still happens. I know Jesus saves our souls but if we’re honest we don’t even like to think He would allow us to go through that kind of torture and pain. 😢

Speak for yourself. He did it for us so we endure it for Him. He is our greatest reward and treasurer. pain and suffering for three sake of Christ is temporary but life in Christ is eternal.
