Going to post some proper explanations and opinions about this soon, just want to digest it a bit first. Zombies is over.. for now!

"Map is designed to take 18 months" What Jason really meant is zombie chronicles 🙌

What we have discovered so far makes perfect sense. We are all acting like we beat the map, like we did it.. The only reason that the easter egg ends with "THE END" is because... Are you ready? WE FUCKING FAILED. We fell into the trap. Monty tricked us into restarting the same cycle that has played out millions upon millions of times. If you think, Monty gains his omni-potence/timelessness THROUGH THE CYCLE RESTARTING. THAT IS HIS AGENDA. RESTART THE CYCLE, REMAIN OMNI-POTENT because HE IS RESTARTING HIS OWN UNIVERSE. DO YOU GUYS REALLY THINK THAT EVERYTHING THAT SHINES IS GOLD? clearly, this is far from gold. We failed because we completed the cycle that we are supposed to break. Yeah, sure, this is AN ending, but not THE ending. This is the ending that has happened a million times, over and over. What we see at the end of the cutscene is the beginning of the great war, which ORIGINS picks up after. INCASE YOU DONT GET IT: MONTY IS BAD TOO. Monty perpetuated the cycle, it has now restarted. You are, at the beginning of primis. One universe is about to be fucked up, then shattered, just like what we have lived through with this story line. This was all prophecized, we have gotten nothing new through this easter egg. Mark my words, we have yet to use the original staves. We have yet to BREAK the cycle. Why would the Shadowman be the boss if A) We beat him in shadows B) This story has been told to have happened infinite number of times already, so he has died infinite number of times. The cycle will be broken when we can stop Monty from perpetuating it. It will be even harder and probably more rediculous than what we have done so far, because why would it be easy to break out of the mold we are in? we are going to have to think SO far outside the box, because if it was something that our characters SHOULD consider, they would have in their past 1 million attempts. When monty falls, the cycle is broken. We don't just have 4 elemental runes for fucks sake.

Biggest Disappointment in zombies. The map has NO new features that made the game fun. Every single thing in this map was recycled crap without even a slight twist to make it new. The ending didn't make anyone excited or close any doors or even leave a slight hint at a completed story. I do sincerely hope there will be a second ending but even then it won't patch up the disappointment of the map itself

Biggest zombies map disappointment ever, pretty much everything was just either mediocre or BAD, and this ending was the final KICK in the face for all zombies fans. Treyarch could've done SO MUCH with everything in this map and they come out with THIS fuck up, disgraceful.

Guys, notice that the Origins dig site is in the background meaning that they were sent back to medieval times and the Warriors below them are undead warriors of Agartha.

The ending cutscene could of been longer than 2 mins we needed to know more information about the storyline

Well here's where the one guy turns this very sentimental and it kind of gives everyone a small bit of feeling. When I was young, those 8 years ago when World at War first came out, I had a partner for zombies. The kind of partner you would always run the high round games with, and you would never get mad at and would always try to beat your previous best with. Then Black Ops came out, and with Black Ops came the main Easter Eggs. We would always do everything every way we could, and the finale on Moon was so heavily enjoyed by us that its still a moment I remember to this day. Black Ops II rolls around and again, we push and push through EE after EE and we listen to the beautiful audio of both Richtofen beating Maxis, and Maxis beating Richtofen on Buried, and then that concluding cutscene on Origins that started tied through most of the story for us. Well today, after my classes, I sat down and ran through EE after EE in BO3, alone... Because he is unable to join me anymore... And today during this final cutscene on Revelations, I wish I could've heard him freaking out over realizing the cycle has just started again with our heroes as the Primis group because I knew he would absolutely have loved it. Thank you Milo for allowing me to see this ending, as I no longer play CoD on console after I built my desktop, because I would've had to wait a whole month to see this conclusion and experience these feelings, and who knows I probably will again whenever the time comes.

geez. back when easter eggs had endings that we could enjoy. look at milo’s face when he reacted to the ending. pure joy. now flash forward 3 years to bo4 and the ending of the aether story. literally such a horrid ending.

The cutscene explained the whole of what we have done in BO3, yes that's great but.... Idk whether its been explained about peter mccain if so please infrom me! But this cutscene was like any other, maybe they could have recapped waw to revelations showing what the characters did in order for the steps to be made up until this point, as bo1 ended where the characters were on moon so Idk how the storyline will go on? I felt the cutscene could have had MORE emotion for everyone who has played zombies instead of the people who knew the majority of the storyline, I thought the vaguer the storyline was the better in WaW and BO1, just my thoughts.

The cutscene should have had the following: 1) a cinematic destruction for the shadow man with him satin one last ominous quote 2) Maxis telling us this was his plan all along (as Sam said) 3) Monty sitting down with the children saying everything is okay now and THEN walk over to our Primis characters. 4) He said he stuff with the blood and without threat of removing them from existence (b/c if he can do that, then what's the point of them doing all this work, killing their other versions for no foreseeable reason other then it helped them get to the house as children) 5) Monty teleports them to the beginning of the Great War vs the apothicons and we get some dope af action scenes of the origins crew roasting some margweenos, winning, and then end with the mound scene. 6) "The End"

The Easter egg and the steps in the Easter egg didn't feel like it had many connections to the whole zombies storyline. We got too much stuff from black ops 3 and not enough callbacks to the other games and maps. New characters like Sophia and Dr.Monty felt disconnected from the storyline we've experienced.

Guys please dont hate on the cut scene, a guy posted about it on Reddit, he believes he whole thing is a cycle, please go check it out, lost the link so I cant post it, but basically the reason primis failed because they didn't get what they want, they got sent back before origins, for the cycle to restart blah blah blah, go check it out, he explains why monty did what he did to stay in power, why the achievement has a description of complete the cycle and the rest of it. Dont hate yet!

I remember when this was meant to be the end of the Zombies story...dear god do I wish it stayed that way.

It would have been awesome if when you complete the EE you play as the Primis characters in there universe/map and you have the staffs instead of it just ending your game

There is definitely another ee and that is the alternative ee which is where Monty is evil and they break the cycle instead on continuing it

we do need another ending. i want to see more of samantha and how she plays out. theres no way there cant be more with her considering she was one of the most iconic characters in one of the most iconic maps

This is why I love watching, even in the best time of Black Ops you aren't afraid to offer criticism. Rare to see these days when a lot of youtubers are afraid to say what they mean because they want to keep getting invited to stuff. I can't help but feel that milo is disappointed in how little that ending gave us.

The way milo talks about the map at the end reminds me of a judge on a reailty TV show and he wanted the person (treyarch) to do good but they dropped the ball and he's sad that he has to talk that way about his favorite person

Coming back to this..... the ending doesnt feel as bad as it did at that time. Its like Origins. We cant know everything. Bcz now the Origins cutscene is amazing

The entirety of the story in BO3 kinda feels like a cop out. It feels like 3arc got in too deep and couldn't write themselves out so they added Monty and the Apothicans to swerve us a lil bit. They called it Revelations but where were the big revelations......

me too milo and I haven't played any of the new maps I watch u play them and the last 3 maps had us very hype and to see it end like that is sad. there are still a lot of unanswered questions. if anything more questions now

GUYS I THINK I FOUND A THEORY! This is not the only cutscene in revelations. Remember PRIMIS FAILS and our 4 characters got teleported back to the origina-revelations loop and this has happened to them a lot. the only way to defeat the cycle they are in is by sacrificing someone in this case Richtofen as seen in the trailer. Like in MOTD albert killed the other 3. Richtophen and our group tried to end the loop with the blood viles but it did not work. This is y i think the second cutscene is richtofen sacrificing himself so the infinite cycle ends. Just a theory plz like so it can spread

Just rewatching because why not?? I love your videos so much. Anyways... I feel like this Easter egg had so much potential to be so much better “step-wise.” I would’ve loved if they implemented stuff from Easter eggs on the single maps, such as something Origins related in the Origins section.

Milo you just explained the cycle. We've completed the cycle now. Zombies is a paradoxical loop itself, that's why it's always been called "The Cycle".

Guys think about it. Milo stated that Jason told him that this is going to be a 18 month map. There could be future patches that add new things to the map allow us access to other Easter eggs for more explanations. I think that this is only the beginning to the conclusion.

what the point of this cutscene is.. it is a loop.. everytime they do the same stuff.. they have been at the battle from primis maybe 100 times..

theres no way this is it we have to break the cycle with the blood vials its not over yet!!!

This Easter egg is awesome the cutscene is cool because u got Monty talking about the blood vials that we only got from Zetsoubou and u got the main crew holding the staffs which is primis ending off the cutscene which is mind blowing

my theory for why it reset back to the beginning is because the crew used the blood vial which are from the motd crew and they are stuck in a cycle, so Richthofen used thebblood vials so that he wouldn't die but have a better version of himself ei the primis crew which are basically the origins crew being transferred back in time

and now... may 16th WE HAVE ZOMBIE CHRONICLES

What if you have to wear Al's hat during the boss fight and maybe something different will happen. Like really, we really don't know what Al's hat does. I don't think they would just add it for no reason. Just a thought.

every time I watch the Revelations cutscene ending I'm always almost about to cry

Ok. So I was playing Die Rise recently and I think that the Tranzit crew is where the Apothicons are simply due to the Crawlers in the map and the strange voice in the intro cutscene. And also when Stulingher said "There's nothing left!" He could be referring to when Maxis and Sophia terminated the Apothicons sun and The Shadow Man. JUST A THOUGHT

Primis will fail

Am I the only one who realizes how much Revelations makes sense with Zombies Chronicles? at the end of Revelations, they get brought to the beginning of the cycle and must go through all their journeys once again, until they break it, and Chronicles only has maps with our four characters

after all this time later, may of '17, knowing primis will fail and seeing this back it all shows this is not over

Why couldn't people see this coming, not this exactly but it said we are at the begining we are at the end. Of course primis was are original characters it told us

something I predicted a few months ago that Im glad turned out true is that with the origins characters being the primis characters that means maxis' replica staffs are the real staffs. They are copies of his own staffs that the characters took back in time

Really sad this is all over, it almost feels like I've graduated high school, I grew up with black ops, and I loved the zombie series now it's all over and we are all just like "what now"
