Wow amazing work. Very interesting how you used different paints and techniques. I just love the design of this jet it is so timeless, i mean it is from the 1980's and it looks kind of up to date. Very nice video. Happy easter!

The body fuel tank is incorrect. On the Mirage 2000, the 1300 litres fuel tank doesn't have any aerodynamic component.

ahhh, this brings back happy memories of building mine (I am guessing they are the same basic kit just with a different cockpit. stunning work Alex as ever and yours is better than mine in both model and video. great to see you are still on the horse.

Great build as usual! The delta wing jets have that something special about them. I think my all time favorite is the B-58 Hustler. For a delta wing funny this involves an F-106 delta wing. Look on youtube for, Cornfield bomber. the end has an unexpected twist.

Good work as usual. Does the kit come with the chaff/flare dispensers that mount on the spine just forward of the tail fin? Most 2000Ds that carry the laser designator are normally fitted with them.

+Itzmeoval "Micro Mesh".. its a real thin sponge sand surface that goes up to 12000 grit! Try it! :) or Tamyia compound... drom the thick to the thin... its 3 tubes... start on the coarse and finish on the thin one

Ive bought this model. It came with some paint, some glue and a brush. I have no clue how to paint it. Is it gonna look crap at the end if i do not use the airbrush tool? Sorry for my ignorance.

+Sayan Sayan hello Sayan... let me say something first... its a very good kit with a good fit... you will enjoy it, second... the thing that matters in modeling is to have fun.. doesn t matter if you have to to use an airbrush or not... what matters is TO HAVE FUN... if you enjoy the hobbie and the build it will NEVER look crap because you ve enjoyed it... so... if you don t have an airbrush... have fun brush painting it! ;) ... on this kit first apply the base color and then the splinters or stripes ok... the darker color second.. and its not your ignorance... you have nothing to apologise... just be strong, decisive... look at the model... study it... make a "battle plan" how to tackle it:) in the end it will be alright.. and remember... its only a kit... and a hobby.. cheers! +Katapros Pikamonstre or use just a toothpick (yes i wrote toothpick) very pointy one and use it to paint the buttons... see some of my build videos and you will see how i use it!

It's not a Mirage 2000D because the dorsal ridge is that of a Mirage 2000N.

parabéns! ótimo vídeo! tenho um igual pra fazer, queria perguntar: ele precisa de peso no cone para parar de pé? só uma coisa que eu observei que você poderia melhorar, esses avioes tem uma ponta bem aguda no cone, você poderia reproduzir ela, eu acho que deixa o modelo muito melhor, eu fiz isso no meu Rafale da hobby boss, (e refiz depois que minha filha derrubou ele no chao) daria pra adicionar agora sem problema e só repintar o cone, foi o que eu fiz no meu, se tiver interesse da uma olhada nas fotos: www.scalemates.com/profiles/mate.php?id=16302&p=albums&album=27288&view=thumbs

Congratulations on a really good job of building, sadly, a garbage kit. Revell (originally Italeri) should retire this putrid piece of plastic. It’s not like they don’t have some good kits in their range.
