As someone that has literally just finished a battle with a flying stink bug at 1am, I feel like I can relate to this game and the timing is questionable.

That merchant monster reminds me of the merchant from RE4 in that he's actually one of the monsters, but doesn't attack you because his love for money overrides his desire to kill

I wonder if there will be some kind of endgame to this series of games that are somewhat interconnected. We always see the same Stanley Flats apartments in Obsession, VIRMACHINA and Affection (assuming that the building is within the vicinity of Stanley Flats). Now I'm interested at where this is going but sadly as manly said this is the latest game from the dev. If they ever tie this up into one huge game, I really like the idea of them having all the protags from the game and it will be the most unique cast of characters. A guy from the 50's, A psychopath woman, A guy that escaped the horrors of that city but eventually came back, and this pantygirl.

Wouldn’t it be an interesting twist if all those meat products that spawned from the monsters were actually their real meat, just looking different for the player character? It could be like they are slowly turning into a monster themselves, consuming other monsters but keeping their human form to become a sort of ultimate monster.

I watched someone play this a while ago and it has some of the most creepy and upsetting looking monsters I've seen in any game.

The game has promise! Just few extra mechanics to make the combat feel much more than "Fire before they reach you or walk away if they are slower". I'm thinking Revenance has RE4 style pick up rate as in.. You WILL always get just enough ammo to scrape by, but never swim it in.

Great way to show off some great creepy pixel art monsters. Love that Clock Tower inspired idea too, I think this art style would be perfect for an adventure game with constant dread to it.

For a nice semi-horror game about dogs, I'd suggest "I became a dog", I played it through and got every ending, it was good.
