The only thing that I hate about using Rev This season is now everybody's in my squad is going to want to use him

I think the changing of skins kind of works like why they can’t vault weapons, the reason being that players have spent money on specific skins. There would probably be a lot of people complaining about a certain rare or even common that they bought with crafting metals or something (for whatever reason) and ask for their money back. Even though they are basically default skins, its based off of a technicality because technically they are purchasable cosmetics that they can’t just change otherwise they would lose money..

I've already played a lot of him, the way his agility works is that its look dependent, 1:45 here you'd expect to go far and high but he is just going up, its kinda like a big circle on the top of your screen if you look straight forward you'll get distance and Height but if you look slightly down it gives you just distance, you have to aim where you want in a certain part of your screen, its a leap not a jump

As it is, Revenant was always my favorite hero. Good to see him getting the love he deserves!

It kind of sucks that he got 2 new animations but he got about 3 or 4 new holster and equip animations. My 2 favorites are when he summons it out of nowhere like the wraith one and another where he summons it from the right of the screen slowly.

New Rev is an absolute beast of a W. Two back to back champion wins.

The launch bundle rev skin has a unique select animation

If you use a recolor it does the rev reborn select animation instead of the clasdic so you can still get the rev vs rev

It's like lifeline, where one of the stats (specifically "enemies silenced") will no longer be possible to increase due to the silence ability having been removed

Ngl this season has reminded me of R6 Siege's Operation Health, where there wasn't much content, but the gameplay has been improved, there's been decent reworks, and the balance of the game is pretty good with a good boost of players.

It was initially gonna be for the cut edge-wielder pilot, who would use a sword as their main ability if I'm not mistaken. the more you know!

I love how the hip fire "sight" of the charge rifle is literally the one from titanfall

The animation for the tactical ability should be like he becomes one with the shadows and dashes forward I think that would be cool

His ult seems a bit underwhelming tbh. Like idek if it’s worth making your hit box that much bigger while only being able to take like 3 extra shots. Sure the tactical recharge is nice but it isn’t that great if rev dies immediately in his ult.

Found out that if you use a jump tower, right before you get to the top, jump off and use fully charge tactical. You go nearly as far as the jump tower takes you but obviously without a trail and it’s faster

For some reason I feel that Revenant's abilities now would be like Forge's if he was a playable character. Instead of a pounce, Forge would have a jump slam and the ult would definitely give him more health like Revenant's new ult, so he'll act like a tank.

Not sure if this is common knowledge but if you chain together octane's jump-pad with revenant's leap u get stupid distance.

Team comp idea: 1) Vantage - to scan enemy teams and determine the difficulty of the fight/mark said enemies for damage buff 2) Rev - to ult in and help secure knocks on said enemy, acting as the teams entry fragger/tank 3) Newcastle - to add overall survivability to the team, get clutch revives, and provide cover for his entry fragger. Vantage would also be the only recon character capable of keeping up with them due to her tactical. I haven’t been able to try this comp but it sounds good in theory. So to sum it up, Vantage scans and tags enemies while rev pushes in, upon knock/low-health Newcastle leaps to rev and provides cover, vantage then leaps in w/ echo to regroup and have the whole team together again

I just wonder if revenant will KEEP these abilities. Cant wait to see more of the lore

I bought the heirloom. First heirloom, wanted the One for rev ever since it came out. Been a rev main for 3 years

i like that they put the reactive skin at 25 but i think they should have just increased the amount of stars you get so its just easier to get tier 100 and make the challenges different so you dont have to play a specific legend

As someone who mained Rev on console, I think it only makes sense to be "reborn" on the PC version of the game!

I liked being able to shut people down, the jump tactical is at too much of 60* angle. The ultimate is ok.

I think they should change revenants passive to allow him to wall run while also keeping the climb buff, his tactical should stay the same, and his ultimate should be the death totem but instead of what it did before it should give his team the shadow for like 30 seconds allowing his team to wall run and climb high as well. This would make him more of a skirmisher with the wall run ability and would make him more of a team player considering his whole ability set is mostly selfish.
