Reverence and Awe │ Hebrews

Isn’t it horrible when Christians say, “Church is so much fun”? It’s a joy to go to church, but we are to worship God “with reverence and awe” (Hebrews 12:28). Yes, we are to come to our loving, gracious Father, but that call is mixed with a warning: “Our God is a consuming fire.” May the Holy Spirit open our eyes to our heavenly Father who loves us but is also worthy of our reverence and awe.

God hear my prayers. Having two sons with special needs is overwhelming at times because they require so much from me. As a single mother things are difficult. I keep faith in you Jesus even as I struggle to pay rent, and as I struggle to buy groceries for my sons. Every month is a battle. I want to give up yet God gives me strength. Faith is my strength.💕💕

My prayers are with you. I had one daughter with special needs, and she passed away at 39 years, but I know if 1 was a handful, two must be quite a lot. May God grant you the grace and strength daily to do it with love.

Sadly, this generation's familiarity with God leads to statements like "God & I have a good deal going..." or "Jesus gets me..." Too often we have reduced the glory of God to our level (Romans 1:21-23). God, have mercy on us.

🌄A Blessed Summer Wednesday In God's Kingdom Field! 🌿 Therefore, since we are receiving A KINGDOM THAT CANNOT BE SHAKEN, let us be thankful, and so WORSHIP (SERVE) GOD acceptably WITH REVERENCE AND AWE (FEAR) Hebrews 12:28. This is what The Lord Says: HEAVEN IS MY THRONE and the earth is My Footstool. Where is the house you will build for Me? Where will My Resting Place Be? HAS NOT MY HAND MADE ALL THESE THINGS, AND SO THEY CAME INTO BEING? Declares The Lord. "This is the one I Esteem: he who is humble and contrite in spirit, and trembles AT MY WORD" Isaiah 66:1,2. Jesus Says, "Blessed are they who hunger and thirst FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS, for they will BE FILLED". It Is Written, "MY HOUSE WILL BE CALLED A HOUSE OF PRAYER, but you are making it a den of robbers". To those who sold doves, He Said, "Get these out of here! How dare you turn MY FATHER'S HOUSE into a market!" Matthew 21: 12,13; John 2:12-16, NIV, NKJV. Come, let us bow down IN WORSHIP.
