Hi, ma'am it's great to have detailed explanation. I have a query, hope u could help resolve it. We are getting IP Conflict because of DHCP configuration. We have dugout the fault manually as some stupid activities of our clients. In our network clients are provided with local Admin access as per functional requirement and restricted access to external network via hardware firewall. Now problem arise, to bypass firewall clients made attempts to spoof MAC address by manually configuring LAN card. Now as per functioning of DHCP IP conflict occur and later client easily bypass the firewall while first client rest with error message. To resolve this we have spent many hours checking lots of configurations.... Finally as per clients attitude we identified the annoying person. Now we request, could u please guide through series of steps to quickly identify such occurrence in network and also to restrict such false attempt. Thanks in advance...

Good Question, but i dont think the answer you can get here, You can enable 802.1x on you environment.
