This is the best explanation for reverse bay parking on the whole of the Internet. Thank you seriously. Got a test in october and this and pulling over on the left accurately is my main problems.

Is it possible to pass by forward bay parking in a bay then reversing back into a bay, to complete the reverse bay park? (Erith test centre for reference)

If the car park allows? Then yes, there is nothing wrong with driving forward into a bay then reversing back into a bay.

When it came to reversing my instructor had the following advice: "If you were going in forwards you'd just drive in, right?" "Well, yes.". "Ok. So just do that backwards." It was actually pretty good advice. Rather than rely on reference points that only worked in one particular vehicle, it did ultimately mean I could reverse any vehicle. Of course, if you really want to get good at reversing, and especially parallel parking; I advise living in London for 15 years.

Hi, I have taught quite a few Chinese over the years and most find it quite difficult to learn to drive. If you imagine the steering wheel as a face clock. A half turn means turn the steering wheel from 12o’clock position down to the 6 position. . A full turn on the wheel means turn the wheel from the 12 o’clock position all the way back round to the 12 o’clock position. 1 and Half turns means turn the the wheel full circle and then add another half a turn on by pulling the wheel from from the 12 position down to the 6 position.
