I've had some interactions with the folks at Chase Bliss and they all just seem like such amazing people doing wonderful things in the MN community in general. Good people just wanting to make cool great innovative pedals working in community with other great pedal makers. I love that ethos. And I might have been one of the first people to buy this pedal. Can't wait to get it in October for an off-Broadway climate musical I've done deep guitar soundscaping for. Can't wait to work it in!

I've had the pleasure of dining with Joel and Steve together several times (with Fairfield folks joining in as well). That's one fun meal! The two guys are sweet enough that no dessert is required. If you have a stereo delay pedal, with dual ins and outs, plus reverse delay, try this experiment. I've done it with my Line 6 Echo Park and it's loads of fun. Select reverse delay, and set it for 100% wet, and a medium delay time, with whatever degree of feedback makes you happy. Plug into channel A and take A's output and feed it to B's input. Several interesting things will happen. First, because so many users of "stereo" pedals will generally plug into only one input, the system will likely provide processed signal to BOTH outputs. So some of what A does will show up at B's output. Second, when you use reverse delay once, and then again, you re-reverse, albeit with several A-D-A encoding/decoding transitions, so repeats come out "forwards". Because of this, and because there is both delay and feedback, B's final output will contain reversed copies of the input (coming from what you plugged into A being shared by both outputs) as well as re-reversed (forward) copies, staggered in many different ways. It's not nearly as complex as what Reverse Mode C does in either the CBA pedal or Superdelay, but it's gobs o' fun. Heck, you can even run A's output through another pedal before feeding it to B's input, so that the various backward and forward repeats are processed differently. (Now that you got me thinking about it, I have to stick my Micro-POG between A and B and experiment)

Joel mentioned that the reception for the Mood II didn't land with the enthusiasm they thought it would. That's a bummer to hear, because I've been a long time Chase Bliss admirer, but from afar because I really wanted to see their pedals in stereo. I pre-ordered the Reverse Mode C and will likely snag the Mood II next!

The Bonsai is really no mystery, the TS is a famous, useful circuit and the idea that you get ALL of them in one case, the history of the circuit in one case, one purchase-- even if you're not a TS junkie you almost can't pass that up. Plus, it is cleverly presented and has the coolest of all your graphics ideas. But yes, The Crayon is INFINITELY cooler, why I have both...

They should have put the input and output jacks on the other sides.

I like Chase Bliss because of how they've expanded what's capable with analog circuits. You don't need all these individual pedals for digital effects. A good multi effects "pedal" that you can program makes more sense. Like a TC Electronics "Plethora" or one of Line 6's units.

I really like Emily, and the harp playing feels like a cool idea. But when you make an interview on Zoom, with 3 people, the background music doesn't help if you want to really listen to what the pedal makers are saying.

Love these brands but you are essentially paying $600 for something a plug-in can do. Obviously it’s a niche market but those prices are insane for what amounts to printable circuit boards.
