✱ IVO PH shared the proper way of installation in their FB page. It's different from what I showed you but it works the same. :)

✱ Correction: Slow flow 30secs (NOT 10secs)

✱ We replaced ours after 1 year even though the water flow hasn't slowed down a lot.
✱ Upon checking with IVO, we can still use our old filter even if it's browning already. As long as the water flow is still acceptable for us. The strength of the flow doesn't affect the quality of the water.
✱ We decided to reinstall our old cartidge. :)

Waaait! 🤣 It still depends on your usage hehe. This was pre-pandemic when we're in the office most of the time so we were able to stretch it for a year. During lockdown when we're stuck at home, 1 cartridge only lasted around 3mos. 😅

Pag naiinip na po kayo sa sobrang bagal ng tulo hehe. Samin around 6months depende kung gano kadalas gamitin 😄

I'd used a different way to fix this purifier:put the larger nut on faucet at first ,then tighten the smaller one to faucet.finally put the larger over smaller and tighten the purifer well. It could make a better seal. : )

Thanks! That would work if the larger nut fits the faucet head all the way to the neck, but in our case it doesn't so I did it another way. We had no issues with the seal. 😊

So Ivo makes tap water potable? Hmm... Doing the math, it would significantly lower our water consumption cost because we buy water (40 pesos per 20 liter container) every 3 to 4 days. Worth looking into, thanks.

Hmm we were able to install seamlessly although when we put the purifier part there is a small leak at the back 🤔

If the leak is coming from the cartidge you can bring it up to IVO but if it's coming from the faucet adapter maybe you just need to tighten it more 😊

Hi! Oh yeah I forgot about that! There's no distinct taste. It doesn't taste like bottled water too which is good for me cos I don't like the aftertaste. 😊

Could be the water source too. Our condo gets water straight from the main line (Maynilad), wala naman syang ibang lasa. 😅

I have a question. So, you need to change the cartridges for how many months? And if so, if we don't replace it with the new ones, what's gonna happen? Will the water in the filtered water turns into dirty or will it continue to release a clean and filtered water?

You change the cartridge pag mabagal na yung tulo. Over time bumabagal yan depende sa consumption, but the water that comes out will always be clean and filtered. 😄

If you're a small household (2pax) with space constraints, I would recommend this type of filter (faucet mounted). But if you're a big family, you'd easily consume the filter capacity. :)

I asked customer support they said it will get less and less water drop until it reaches its life so they say until you deem it flow water not enough, then thats the time to replace 😅

If you wanted to know if you already exceeded the capacity of your filtration system you may opt to buy total dissolved solid (TDS) meter. TDS is also a parameter in testing drinking water. Btw, may I know the brand of your smart watch?

Yes, in our case it removes the chlorinated smell in our tap water.

O dont know if its in the product details but it says to replace the filter every 3 months... beyond 3 months of usage does it filter just as same?

@lance888 Yup it filters just the same even after 3 months, the flow will gradually grow weaker but IVO assured me that it filters water up to the last drop. When you can't bear the water flow or you start noticing an odd smell, it's time to change the cartridge. :)

@@TheBlahger thank you so much. Cause 1.3k every 3 months is too much for me. Im also looking at a similar product which is xiaomi mijia filter that comes with free 4 replacement filters... Leaning towards ivo because of the certification...

The question is it that really purifies the water? How do you know that?

I don't. Same way we don't know if the water we get from other water stations are truly clean. You can't know for sure unless you have the proper facility. That's where due diligence comes in, specially for something relatively new like IVO. You may reach out to the manufacturer or contact your local health agency to verify. So far IVO has all the necessary certifications. Our condo corp also provided IVO for everyone so I trust they've looked well into it. 😄

It doesn't. Per this article on Inquirer, "IVO removes 99.99% of the bacteria in your tap water but retains the calcium, magnesium, and other minerals essential to your body." Hope this helps. :)

I can't really say eh but if you're referring to TDS level, IVO mentioned it doesn't lower TDS levels as in retains essential minerals present in the water. What IVO does is more on filtering bacteria and chemical contaminants which is not detected by a TDS meter. Samin naman treated yung water galing tanke so chlorinated na may aftertaste pa pero after IVO okay na lasa. 😄 So far buhay pa naman 🤣

Ivo vs ecosphere? Sa ecosphere kasi kahit malaki may indicator na papalitan na yun filter.

I've seen one of those ecospheres but I can't really say. I'd still go for IVO just because it's more compact. If space isn't a problem I'm sure there are much better options than a faucet mounted purifier. We know it's time to change the cartridge when the filtered water flow has gone unbearably slow hehe. IVO assured us naman that no matter the strength of the flow, laging purified yung lalabas so oks pa kami kahit walang indicator hehe. :D

I really like that product but Cartridge is disposable for 3 months to replace and also expensive to buy. I wish Cartridge is washable.

It may last more than 3mos depending on your consumption. But yeah it's a bit pricey.

I just want to ask. Since dalawa yung labasan ng tubig. Does both water outlet filter the water? Or does it only filter the water on the left side? The reason why I asked is because if the right side does not use the filter, then we can use it to wash our dishes or to wash our hands. We will just use the left outlet where the filter is for drinking purposes. That way, we can prolong the use of the filter. We are a family of 10 members. So I am worried that we will overuse the filter.

Correct, left side lang po yung nagffilter (yung mag cartidge). If pang hugas kamay or pinggan, switch nyo po sa kabilang outlet para tipid. :)

Better to use an inhouse water purifier, this is too promissing... Maliit lang ang device tapos magclaim ng ganun. Edi dapat lahat na ay kumuha ng ganito.

And it's true to its promise so we have no worries. 3 years na rin kaming user. It's not for everyone though, if I were in a bigger household I wouldn't go for this kasi mabilis maubos yung filtering capacity, plus the cartridge is pricey at p1380 kada palit. Maybe that's why you don't see this going around a lot. Our condo sponsored this for everyone so I'm sure it was vouched for. :)
