There has been a big trend going on since a long time ago getting a waffle maker- hopping on that wagon now!
I bought a 3-in-1 waffle maker, in hopes to share my very first waffle maker experience with all of you!

It is worth noting that using a detergent cleaner on a waffle plate is never recommended kzfaq.infoUgkxUfphIgghPSpAXNq6OG2WRYsFVqylcqMn though people who don't understand about kitchen hygiene won't understand that a stiff brush is all that is necessary to clean the inside of the unit. Let it cool slightly but still perform the cleaning while it's warm. I used to have a Black and Decker unit that I just loved, and was concerned when we had to replace it that I might not find one that I like just as much. This one does it for me.

Is the non stick non toxic? No temperature control? I prefer ceramic coating with temperature control.

I had this question and called the company and they said it was non toxic and PFOA free.

Great video. I bought one of these today & looking forward to making some waffles. I noticed you locked the lid when cooking your waffles. The instruction book said not to lock the lid to allow the waffle to rise. Your waffles looked great. I would think it's better to lock the lid.

@@JaquelineC I made some waffles today. I didn't have any cooking spray. The waffles were a little unevenly cooked with a little burning on the waffles towards the front of the unit. I locked the lid as you did in your video. Hopefully I'll get better results when I use cooking spray.

@@JohnnyBamboo Hope your waffle tasted good though (maybe except the burnt part)! I actually went ahead and checked on the waffle a couple times while cooking because I didn’t want to burn mine. Fingers crossed for the next perfect waffle🤞🏻!

Just read the use and care manual. Aerosol cooking spray should not be used. For plates of Waffles and grill, don’t use the latch.

Be careful using a metal fork on the grid plates, it can damage them. Best to use plastic spatula or plastic utensils... 🙋🏼‍♀️

I have the same device and it's so disappointing that the waffles don't get golden brown color like in other devices. I tried waiting for a long time and the maximum color they get is yellow like in the video... Also they're not crispy, so disappointed

you will end up scratching the none stick surface if you continue to use that metal fork to lift the waffles out

How much time does it take for a waffle to fully cook? I am clueless 😞got this device recently

Welcome to team waffle maker! 😂 I would say about 4-6 minutes, depending on how soft or crispy you want your waffle to be cooked. Happy wafflin’ 👍🏼

Are the plates iron or aluminum??

I believe they’re iron plates that are non-stick and dishwasher safe! 😊

Hi! It would have been awesome to be able to have my secret recipe for waffles, but this one was Trader Joe’s Gluten Free Buttermilk Pancake 🥞 and Waffle 🧇 Mix with more butter than suggested on the directions. Happy wafflin’! ☺️👍🏻

Hi! I used spray canola oil. I figured out I only need it for the first time after washing plates.

@@NathaelleG17 If you don’t have spray oil, you can choose to brush on some oil or put a small piece of butter 🧈 on your plates!

Yeah, waffles are nice until you realise it's made from something that is not healthy eating at all! The waffle plates will probably get used a couple of times a month maybe? Careful that your hair doesn't stick to waffles!🤣 This feels like one of those mukbang videos!
