Gave my Aeon Pro a blue and white paint job and topped it off with Drac's Flux Kit + UwU spring for a sleeker profile and easier handling for a top prime powerhouse! PS: I'd love to see sling points on the Aeon too

Hey here’s a tip: an easier way to shotgun load is by holding the trigger while priming.

Another way to do it is just put two short darts in the barrel don’t squeeze them in just put them there

You can just make sure to not fully push it forward when priming, it doesn't lock until it's fully forward.

just prime twice to shoot in one and it also can shoot every type of of dart including the mega and rival with da muzzle

it is the BEST VALUE in our HOBBY ever. There had been nothing so great in price to performance, as this matches the nexus pro in performance but costs half of the price

Not a "Deprime" button. just an 'unjam' button. you can't actually deprime with it... since the trigger remains locked so long as the slide is open.

I bought this gun for Christmas, and whatever you put into it it fires. Rival, long darts, short darts, ultra darts, your pet hamster, a BB pellet, a marble, etc. (You get the idea :))

Bought this one first, went back for the nexus after realizing how amazingly good of a product that DZ is giving us. Now I just need a lower power spring for my aeon for indoor use.

The Aeon is fantastic for the price. Magazine fed, half dart adaptable. Can fire megas and rivals. Can shotgun load 2 and 3 half darts. 150 fps outta the box. 25 bucks.

I think the modding potential is so much better on the nexus pro with the spring spacers and the ability to swap spacers/ springs easily as well as to put a brass barrel very easily to get roughly 200 FPS mag fed blaster for less than 10 bucks of mods on a 50 dollar blaster is insane.

I think the aeon pro is better It is a lot smaller cheaper and more versatile It can shot gun load Fire rival rounds Is smaller And is intimidating after your enemy team sees the size but the damage it can do

The plus side to redesigning the grip to incorporate a sling point is you can use the model to design a thumbhole stock for the Nexus Pro also.

I put masking tape around 9/16" brass (and used tightening rings) and shoved it into the stock barrel instead of the aluminum. Air tight seal. I can hold it for 10 seconds and release. I'm thinking air escapes out the plastic that the aluminum fits in. Great video!

It can fire megas, but really shouldn't from the stock muzzle, it destroys them. The gaps in the barrel seem to allow the dart walls to expand, get snagged, tear open and then your dart's useless.

I thought about adding an inline feeder barrel so you can holster it without a mag for at least the first three or four shots. Problem being of course is once you use a mag the barrel needs to be removed as it will stop any non chambered darts from going out.

I actually like the stock slide. It has an area at the front where you can stick your hand in to get better leverage, which is great because it means an 8 year old can prime it themselves with some difficulty.

Great video Luke, I have an idea: I love your book, wish I had it 2 years ago. While there is tons of useful information in there, older modders already know some of the stuff in there. Could you please make a second book, aimed (pun intended) at older, more experienced modders? With stuff like brass breaches, drain blasters, high FPS flywheelers, ect. I know that you are very busy, so if you can't that's fine. Just a suggestion, love the content and the shop! Edit: Also, I would love to see a top 5 video!

For anyone reading, I bought upgrade parts for my nexus pro off his website and everything in my order was shipped immediately and i received it 3 days later. 10?10 would recommend getting your upgrade parts from this guy.

I figured this out recently and was amazed with this blaster: With the barrel attachment that comes with the blaster, you can actually shove a Nerf Rival round into it (far in to form a decent air seal) and shoot that as well as short and long darts! *Don't shoot a dart while the ball is inside the barrel

Aeon Pro slingpoint? Heck yeah!!! Maybe a small piece that goes into the grip, like the "Elite" line, would only require that you take a drill and drill the holes into the grip before inserting...

I'd definitely buy a little springy plastic tab that attaches to the prime handle that gives a little larger area to press the deprime button if you put that on the shop ;)

If youre careful, the nexus can shotgun as well, with up to 4 half darts firing accurately for me.

I think it'd actually be nice to see a weaker spring made available for this platform. Something in the 120-130fps range with short darts for different game types like HvZ. Kinda like the caps for the nexus pro.

3:15 you can buy a drain blaster for 10 bucks, super glue for 5 and a brass for 4,50

I mean, yes, you can beat the fps per dollar pretty easily. But from a practicality, ease of crafting, and performance standpoint there isn't anything that can beat it. Sure, you could build a pvc homemade for a couple bucks and hit harder, but you have to build it and its not going to be mag fed. Nothing else that's mag fed that you can buy working out of the box even comes anywhere remotely close. AND did I mention you can literally just walk to walmart and grab it off the shelf?

Could you make a full size mag with two (or three) columns of short darts so each prime gives a shotgun blast? I can't be the only one who'd love a powerful shotgun pistol. (Three darts would be better even though you'd have to cut down darts.)

Just gonna say on the nexsis if you prime and hold down you finger you can prime several times and then prime without your finger and shotgun with it.. So they both are shotguns

you look there's a removable adapter in the magwell, that adapter lets you shoot short darts and if you remove it *which is as simple as hitting the mag release and pulling it out* you can feed normal darts and mags

I'm a generally younger nerfer trying to get into modding and high power wars this is my first high power blaster and it feels like a retaliator with a 7kg when I prime it most people 11 and up will have an okay time priming but may have trouble if this is their first time handling a blaster or a top prime blaster regardless of their strength
