@Diycarmods I know this was few years ago and I hope u already know the proper installation of this. But putting the bracket on those led reverse bulbs is not gonna work like that. That blue rubber grommet is design to push and turn the led bulbs, until the grommet grabs the tabs and lock it in. And then u can fix the orientation of the led bulbs. So just keep that in mind

Seems like they should just make it fit correctly. Seems a little ghetto to have it lose like that. I know they are double the price but the headlight revolution ones seem to fit no problem.

I just installed them into my car. They do fit snugly if properly installed. The person in this video didn't install them fully - he just placed them in the holes. This is entirely wrong.

@@compacheo603 They're certainly working. Let me take a closer look at the housings / lenses to see if moisture ingression has been a thing. One thing I did was to use a small amount of clear silicone caulk (just a tube from home depot) on the electrical connections since those were too open compared to the OEM connector-to-connector. "Liquid electrical tape" would work as well.

@@compacheo603 Follow-up. I shined a bright LED flashlight into the lenses, and I see no water ingress. If I were to do it over again, I might also use a very light film of clear silicone caulk on the flange part of the light-blue / aqua foam to make sure it's sealed off. But, then again, who knows if that foam might react and break-down to the caulk? Best to test a little drop at an outside edge to see if it eats into the foam as it dries.

The ultra series version are even better. But these are still excellent, either rebrand of GTR Lighting or auxito.

@@toyotabrony I pay 1/10 for 90% performance. And it is still the best on the market for the price. GTR marked up the Chinese LED for 4-10x more expensive.

@@toyotabrony NO, they are actually not the brightest even after 3 hours runs for cooling test. GTR Ultra 2 is onlThey are many better LED than GTR although no lifetime warranty, but 3 years is enough like Bevinsee V45, V35, Lasfit LS, etc.

@@rondhole well it was the brightest led ever. Until, the new version they have. Which is the GTR Lighting ultra series two. With few more led chips and adds 200 lumens more, that’s 1200 lumens. With few led chips that’s properly separates a good space, and a projector. It’s an insane bright. Sure others have much better ones that are brighter. But I don’t buy it until it’s truly tested. Like HR Test.

I like this bulb for it's brightness and heatsink. Has anyone who used this bulb have had any failure caused by heat. I would like to use this bulb for my day time running lights and see if it holds up. Thanks

No failure because it is only on for a very short amount of time. I would not use these for running lights. It can't be on all the time. I won't last.

I believe they are 1000 lumens per bulb, the 2000 is the total from both bulbs.

I've tried many different reverse led bulbs. Many different brands.. different types.. so far this one is by far the brightest. I currently use them on my personal vehicles.

I love mine but let me tell u this i bought the "diesel led" ones for my truck paid almost 100 or better and they are theae exact same bulbs! They r kickass but not for what i paid

@@DIYCarModz that’s because at time (hopefully u solve this already) ur supposed to push it, and while u push it u hold that pressure and rotate to left or right so that u can snug and locked in it’s place. That’s the plan.

No. It’s not made for that. These specifically made for the T15. The h11 bulbs will have 3 tabs, not for these.

You should nit use it for the led strip. It is not built to be on constantly. Only for reverse light

That’s hilarious. All you have to do is shove them in firmly and twist so they lock in. Also they come with o rings to make fitment better

@@DIYCarModz it'll lock in fine you need to put your stock rubber oring on it then it'll stay in no problem. Some companies send u a red one with it or get it off another bulb

Whatever you choose to install, first make sure the replacement lamps use no more current than the OEM incandescent bulb you are replacing. I found out the hard way some years ago when I substituted quartz halogen lamps for the OEM incandescent backup lamps and although they were significantly brighter, they burned out the switch in the transmission in short order. I ended up having to get a new switch and reverting to the OEM bulbs, after my wallet had been lightened a bit.

+bocap1980 - Get copies of the manufacturer's data sheets for the OEM bulb and the replacement LED lamp. If the manufacturer or vendor of the replacement lamp doesn't have this information on a Web site, contact them and ask for it.

If the light stays on with the reverse not engaged then it is installed incorrectly.

Actually the problem is he did a half ass job. Ur supposed to push, while u push u hold it and rotate left or right to get a lock by the gap of the grommet. That’s the purpose of it. All he did is a half ass install and said it wiggles a bit, of course it wiggles because he didn’t installed them properly.

They do. The problem when he demonstrate to re-install the led reverse light. Is when he re-installed them, he did a half ass job and thought putting a bracket will holded in place. U simply installed them, then u push and while u push, hold while it’s being pushed and rotate left or right to have the grommet snugged in well. That’s all u gotta do.
