What you described regarding inconsistencies seems like a characteristic of MacBaren spun tobacco. Got the same exact inconsistency with Dark Twist. Same for the mechanics

Sounds kinda pricy for a modified dark fired blend, thanks but I think I'll stick with the significantly less expensive and more consistent GLP Triple Play. For regular VaPers my go-to remains GLP Telegraph Hill...I'm like you with Elizabethan Mixture here, can't get enough of the delicious stuff and I _always_ find myself strongly craving that next fill. Of course this may change as I experience other blends, who knows. C&D Bayou Morning is next on the list to try and I have high hopes for it as something with a bit more Perique in it. Concur with your room note comments, pipe tobacco has a marvelous aroma and people claiming it doesn't are spiteful Puritans who for one reason or another are indoctrinated to hate it. Same holds true for vaping, as I've mentioned before I'm pretty disabled which means a fair bit of contact with doctors and hospitals. Obviously their turf has banned all smoking including vaping. Now, arbitrary and capricious rules be damned; I won't annoy or irritate anyone to selfishly indulge, but since I'm not, I WANT my nicotine, dammit! I simply conceal my vaping in these places and never have a bit of a problem...unless some high-minded crusader specifically looking for trouble actually SEES me. Logic isn't a part of their outrage at observing my audacity in enjoying myself in a place where some bureaucrat has issued a _fatwah_ against it. It doesn't matter that vaping doesn't bother anyone, this has been shown time and again to have no deleterious effects on those nearby, and the PG and VG in e-juices are the same that have been used in hospital vaporizers for many decades. No, that cuts no ice with fanatics. It doesn't matter that there's no smoking or any combustion going on, nope, they only pitch their hissy fit when they can SEE me. QED: these are simply Puritans who can't abide the thought of someone, somewhere, being happy.

Thanks for this review. The new Green Three Nuns seems to be nor fish nor fowl. I don't quite understand why the blender decided to set Dark Fired Kentucky into the lead. And it is on the pricier side because it's new, I guess.

how would you describe the taste of burley in itself? I sometimes get a cigarette-like taste when smoking a VaBur blend which consequently turns me off from further smoking it. any tips?

Sorry if it has already been explained in the comments, but when in 2016 and 2017 I got some US tobacco the tins did not have the ugly warning phrases (which are common here in Europe). Did the laws change in USA, too, and now every tin has the warnings??? :(

Ahem. I remember the original Bell's Three Nuns, from 1972. Fifty years ago, I learned that I do not like VaPers. As I recall the experience, it made me drool. Add to that the MacBaren Dark Fired.... Nothing to see here.

I don't believe I've ever been around a pipe smoker, howevee I have been around plenty of cigarettes. Is there an inherent difference between the smell and recipe between the two types of tobaccos?

Wow. I've been smoking Pipe Tobacco for more then 10 Years, and everytime in your Videos when you'd say Vaper, I never knew what you where referring too. Now I understand Va/Per = Virginias and Perique. But shouldn't be Vi/Per?

They are however clearly the current lineup, and if STG was making it then perhaps the tin-contents are exactly the same. Perhaps we can stop mourning the passing of Dunhill. Bradley tends to review blends that are good to excellent. Besides the Elizabethan Match I haven't seen him review many blends he didn't like. I'd like to challenge him to review C&D's Light of the Universe. It claims to be a VaPer and it's easily the worst blend I've ever smoked. Maybe it was a bad batch but it's the only tobacco I've had that smelled like a dirty sock. Anyway, love the channel see you for Sunday smoke.
