I had these pedals already for some time but lacked some experience to give it a proper review. Now, after some extensive testing, I think it's time to see what the CAMMUS LC100 pedal set is all about.

Loved the "telloor" quote 😂 have you already seen the updated Cammus LC100 pedal set? They now integrated the control box into the accelerator pedal and made the base plate slimmer. Also added bearings to the lower axle and machined the edges. As a bonus they powdercoated instead of painted like the "V1". Geuss they just made them perfect 😮

Ahhhh ok. I didnt know they adapted it. Good to know. And yes, if they fixed that, its already a big step forward. Thank you for sharing friend💙

Do you have a source of the "new" set? I can't find anything about them.

Always good to have more variety on choice. And when I compare this to let’s say the V3 pedals from Fanatec. Those don’t come with a dampener out of the box. It is an extra there…

Yeah. It really is a very nice package. I just hope Cammus will keep their prices sharp and not go the way of.. Well.. all the others.

Hello Many videos with strange behavior of the load cell sensor (non-precise editing). So, everyone makes a change at this level. This was not the case for you, or did Cammus correct this problem??
@SimulatedDrivingResource
@SimulatedDrivingResource 4 ай бұрын
No issues but you do need to recalibrate after you do changes to the setup. If you dont, it indeed doesnt measure correct

As soon as CAMMUS decides its a "GO". I can already promise, it will be worth it.

These or the T-LCMs?

The feeling of all the pedals on the LC100 are vastly superior to the T-LCM.

+$90 shipping = $336 is too much for my Moza setup.

Yes. Shipping prices depend on region. For me it is 60. If Cammus continues to grow, normally the prices for shipment will go down a bit.

That brake damper is worse than useless. It controls damping on compression which is totally wrong. It needs to control damping on pedal release to be useful. Not to mention from what was shown it looks like the damper was taking all the force because that little spring in the brake should otherwise compress to 100% and that would be the threshold point. These honestly look terribly engineered.

I honestly like the damper feeling but unfortunately have no reference to compare it to. If I get across another set with it, I can make a comparison. You can however take a washer and add it to the brake rod so that it has a larger treshpoint.

Personally I liked the Pedals, I fine tuned it to feel almost exactly like my Evo 6. The supplied pedal plate allowed me to drill it out and have the same pedal spacing. I also added rumble motors to the pedals for more feedback, which was easy to install due to the basic layout. My only complaint is the pedal set needed a heel rest about 5 cm higher then the plate, but was was a easy fix with a bit of wood working. All and all I am very happy with the Cammus pedals.

Glad to hear you guys are happy with them. As long as you can get them to feel how you want that’s good. As someone who has had many high end pedal sets I can tell you from experience that these have many flaws in their design limiting their adjustability. They’ve failed to take into account the many mechanical principles needed for a spring/elastomer load cell pedal set to accurately be able to mimic the wide range of brake pedal feels on road and race cars. If you are happy with them that’s great! Just know that there is much more well thought out design choices on higher end pedal sets that do mean more range of adjustability.

@@alecmillea4539 i don't doubt there are better pedals out there or at least that give that bit of extra to it. But also some prices they ask are absurd for an amateur like myself to buy for review purposes. When I review things, price is also an important factor. I would like to ask, a man with your experience, would you consider the Fanatec CS v3 pedal damper a good comparison to how it should feel?

@@SimulatedDrivingResource The problem with the fanatec V3s damper is that it is 2 way. Controlling speed on compression and rebound. Ideally if you are going to have dampers on your pedals you want the throttle damper to only control compression damping. Limiting how quickly you can press the pedal but not how quickly it releases. A damper on a brake pedal should control rebound damping only. So it only controls how quickly the pedal will release. A 2 way damper is fine for a clutch pedal as it’s just there to add some hydraulic feel. Just think about proper driving technique and what type of damper you need for which pedal makes sense. You want to get on the brake pedal immediately to 80% force and then bleed off the pressure slowly as you trail brake into the corner. A damper controlling compression will limit how quickly you can press the brake pedal costing you lap time. Similarly a 2 way damper on a throttle pedal will limit how quickly you can lift off the throttle meaning you will keep accelerating when you don’t want to, also costing you lap time. Clutch damping doesn’t really matter as long it’s not so hard to press and release that it makes your gear changes slower. A real cars brake pedal will naturally have some rebound damping as a natural result of the hydraulic system. If you lift your foot very quickly off a real cars pedal then it will lag behind your foot very slightly. Good high end pedals like the VNMs and heusinkveld ultimates will have all three dampers of the correct type. Be warned cheap pedals like the AliExpress simjack ones have dampers on all three pedals but not of the correct type so the dampers are worse than useless. The simagic p2000 have a hydraulic brake pedal and compression damper on the throttle as they should. The simagic p1000 can also be upgraded as such. Hope this information helps. Neosphinx if you’d like to, then feel free to make a video on the subject with the information I’ve provided as I haven’t seen much information relevant to this issue on KZfaq!
