This review is unfair. The acting is good. Murphy and Ross have good chemistry. The child actors are great. I enjoyed the character development of the Carver family. There are a few laughs. I loved how the family loves each other and they work together to solve their problems. The special effects were good. This is a fantasy film. It is not supposed to be taken seriously. I recommend this film for fans of Eddie Murphy family films.

That’s completely fair if you liked it, but the plot is the main problem. I did say it’s alright for kids and families.
